I don't know what it is either, but I love seeing Starscream all adorable and beggy. My favorite scens are him getting beaten up and him schmoozing Megatron/anyone else not to kill him or to trick them into doing what he wants.

I think Starscream is one of the greatest villains of all time. He isint just a foe to the heroes but to the other villains as well. He's devious, treacherous and self serving but he's hard to hate.

Not to mention this version has a sexy voice.

What I mean was that the G1-movie, TFA's ending, and DOTM just slaughtered a whole ton of characters for no significant reason. The deaths were also rather undignified - TFA-Blurr-cube and TFA-Starscream losing his fragment. Prowl's death in TFA was just sad, but honorable.

Armada - nope. Same with the rest of the trilogy. But then he didn't really *fit* with the Starscream character description.

Beast Wars/Machines - did that ever show their version of Starscream? Like an actual image of him and not from G1? Waspinator/Tarantuals/etc don't count.

Bayformers - he had bird feet.

Animated - heels. And the most obvious of them yet.

Prime - DEFINITE heels. Hooker heels, or so some of us have been calling them. His legs are slimmer, too.

Hey, how well do the dubbed voices match up? Because Animated Starscream's voices were TOTALLY different between English and Japanese. The Japanese one was so dry and gravelly, not screechy at all.

About the voices, mmm, in Spain, in Prime, his voice, is the voice hi has in the Unicron's Trilogy, but more evil, It's a good voice, in G1 I know the voice in Latinamerican because they translate the serie, now there is another traduccion but i don't know how it's like. Back in high school, my Brazilian Spanish teacher had a comment about dubs. It was something along the lines of "I never knew Arnold Schwarzenegger had an accent until I learned English and went to America. They had dubbed his voice using a local actor."

It just cracks me up because, on the first day, I thought HE sounded a lot like Ah-nold.

Certain species of egg-laying sharks have a type of egg case known as a "Mermaid's Purse." We now know that there are no mermaids (did we *know* at the time?), but the cases are still called that.

So Dark Energon is also known by the name of "blood of Unicron" since it is supposedly the anti-Spark. Spark is from Primus, so anti-Primus is Unicron.

Would be neat; Bay says he isn't doing anything with Unicron/Primus, so...

@SkInHoUnD Armada fan? NO! The series needs to move on from G1 . TFP is brilliant and I like the changes they made. Soundwave is good but i`d like to see him with a voice in the future. Starscream has been developed a bit and Optimus and Megatron are both cool aswell!

G1 was great but the stories were very similar each episode. There was little or no character development and it was less dramatic.

You are clearly a G-whiner and can`t enjoy new shows because they aren`t G1. MOVE ON!!

I love this incarnation of Starscream! He just oozes awesome sauce and has a wicked sense of fashion (love those high heels ;) and he's so charismatic too ^_~ But I find it a little strange how Starscream confides in Soundwave when he's one of Megatron's most loyal servants o_O

Yeah, Prime's gotta have one of the *best* Starscreams (fulfills the character bio best), but I like Animated a WHOLE lot better (and I like Armada even more than that, but he wasn't as accurate).

@littlecarameldrop Soundwave - he is one of the Decepticon's most loyal soldiers. With Megatron incapacitated, Screamer is the rightful leader and thus Soundwave will take orders from him. If SW knows about Screamer's treachery...well...since Screamer didn't actually try to offline Megatron (removing the Dark Energon doesn't count)...

Screamer isn't above *helping* get Megatron out of the way but he never actually turned traitor like G1/Cybertron/Animated and he DOES want the 'Cons to win...

Um, then it is probably because Soundwave is STILL loyal to the Decepticon cause, and not specifically to Megatron. Remember, Screamer hasn't shown any treachery to his Leader yet. And Starscream phrased his intent (what later became Fowler's kidnapping and torture) so that it seemed he was loyal (if worried) instead of scheming for the position of Decepticon Lord.
