هذه الاغينة كانت مقدمة من كاتبها الشاعر الكبير كامل الشناوي لمحمد عبد الوهاب الذي احتفظ بها لمدة سنتين في درجه و لم يستطع ان يعطيها لحنا مناسبا و بعد ذلك اخذها فريد الاطرش و لحنها في ساعتين فقط. اعطى الكلمات خلودا بالحانه القوية المناسبة للكلمات تناسبا رائعا(كلام قد صرح به عبد الوهاب نفسه)
