I met a really decent guy on the Appalachian Trail who looked a lot like Christopher Reeve--an architect from PA who lost his son to a negligent driver. He could neither get justice because of technicalities in the laws between states, nor an explanation for why his son died so he could have some closure, even after offering to sign away his right to prosecute. Seeing this father/son commerical with Reeves brought his suffering back to the front of my mind & made me full of grief.

Wow! I've never seen this, thank you for posting this. Time goes by way too fast. The 70's & 80's just seem like yesterday to me. Sad we atleast didn't see more great Superman movies by Richard Donner. With big budgets & great stories. What a waste, we should had atleast gotten 7 Superman/Christopher Reeve movies. He left us too soon, along with his lovely wife. We could really use a real Superman this last decade & today more then ever! R.I.P. Chris!

To me Christopher Reeve wasn't an actor who played Superman, he WAS Superman!! His life's work after that iconic role made us all say what Lois Lane said in the 1978 film after flying with him for the first time: What a Super man!!!
