I heard witnesses say that the plane had no windows. the military has planes with no windows. Most of the military planes with no windows would be transport air craft, and airborne battle management, and radar craft. I think that the planes that hit the twin T's was a military aircraft. It was said that there was something on the under side of the air craft. so far I have only seen one military air craft with an object on the belly. Moving at speed, a Cessna would have trouble maintaining an altitude of less than ten feet, and an aircraft as large as a 757, moving at 500+ mph wouldn't be able to get within 60+ feet of the ground.

The hole blasted into the Pentagon was completely horizontal, so we do know it was moving parallel to the ground, and the 'five frames' footage shows us as much.
There also isn't really an effective counter-measure to ground-effect unless the aircraft is slowing down dramatically, and if the 757 was that close to the grass, the lawn would have been shredded like tissue paper.
