  • What a corporate media beat up. I've met employers easily as bad as McDonald. I've met thuggish, anti-union workers as bad; does make the news. See what the corporate controlled media, and even the Liberal corrupted ABC, did to Rudd for having the guts to stand up to the richest parasite mining tycoons & demand a little more back for the ppl? This is class war on the poor, by the few Murdoch types and puppets like Abbot. Rudd's a moderate right-wing conservative; stil not good rightwing enough.

  • "John's gone", very true. And now Kevvy has too. Joe must run the country.

  • @deodorant93 Are you insane? Hockey's one bent, two faced, spiteful little man. May as well let the corporate Mafia run Australia if your going to vote Hockey or Fiberals.

  • Johns gone... I'll be back!!!

  • Did I hear John Howard concede the election? I did. When is this footage dated?

  • i like the rudds a dudd thing

  • KEVIN WILL BE A DUDD IN 07

He speaks like a fucking retarded robot,

hes actions and movements when he speaks are so carefully planned out that hes sublimenly trying to get everyone to like him...

He got rid of the Julia Gilard (the ugly redhead) when he knew she wasnt popular with the public,

  • He can promise anything. We have yet to see if/what he can deliver. Fortunately for him, unlike the PM, he has no record in office to criticise. I'd bet tho if he'd been PM for the last 11 years- if he could have lasted that long- there'd be heaps to criticise. Rudd is a dudd. If the electorate doesn't discover that b4 the election, they will after if he's voted in, but then we'll all have to suffer.

  • 27 months later, the Rudd Government has introduced many changes. It has ratified the Kyoto Protocol and developed a Carbon Pollution Reduction Scheme that puts a cap on carbon pollution, withdrawn troops from Iraq, apologised to the Stolen Generation, overseen a courageous reform of industrial relations law which abolished WorkChoices, increased the childcare tax rebate and overhauled education by establishing a single national school curriculum. Not a bad first-time record so far mate.

  • @backtobelmore too right. Credit where credit's due. And what's the maggot Phoney done? Destroy government program and jobs, destroy healthcare access for many many thousands of families, Lied, back-flipped, slandered, whinged... it's pathetic, he's got no vision & nothing to offer but a try-hard imitation of the master spindoctor of the century; John 'the desiccated coconut' Howard.

  • Joe McDonald is a Legend :D

  • "Kevin Rudd the robotic megalomaniac/control freak"

Behind that mild mannered exterior is a cold and calculating reptile.

  • Kevin Rudd is a dickhead and doing all he can to get elected.

Still, I'd rather the ALP in office rather than a Howard Liberal Party

  • This comment encapsulates exactly why Labor shouldn't be elected. Whilst Kevin Rudd at least *appears* to be a conservative moderate type bloke, no one standing behind him in the parliamentary party or the grass roots party have the same leanings. Once he gets Labor over the line his usefulness is finished and the "Joe McDonald" types will run the show again.

  • That being said, I sometimes think that it would almost be a good thing for the conservative movement in Australia for Labor to win this election. This is because if Labor wins the Australian public will very quickly see the "wolf in sheeps clothing" and after that conservatives will win elections on that basis for a long long time.

  • That's right. If Howard wins there will still be even more resentment (hatred) towards him than there is now. But if Labor wins voters will get to see for themselves the mess that Labor makes of our country.

  • So true. Anyone who believes that Rudd has universal support within the Labor party, and that he'll be a leader able to implement decisions of his choosing, is being very naive.

  • You havent answered the why ?

  • why

  • Yes why guava96?

  • Because Howard is a liar who's taken us into an illegal war. On top of that, he's ripped funds out of our universities, public education and health sectors.

I shouldn't have said Rudds a DH 'cause I don't really mean it. It's just frustrating watching him 'me-tooing' on a range of issues. It's all about ridding this country of Howard though and that's a good thing. Howard should've resigned a long time ago. Not only are the Libs better off without him but so is Australia.
