Thanks for your comment... but I feel that there is no need to play faster and difficult scores, especially when this is not a competition. We prefer to play a performance set at a comfortable pace and comfortable difficulty level... we are not a top grade band afterall....
@weyshi Amazing answer ! :D Very true, there is no need to play faster ! I actually really enjoyed it listening to it slow for a change. Sounded really nice ! :) xxx
Itchy Fingers hey hey i love this i wish i can paly it in one year~~~~hohoho~~~~~ du you know Chinese word?? and i know a guy in Singapore and he Rental piper i believe you knows about him
Yes new reeds is a MUST,and they need to be tuned better. Your playing isnt bad at all though. I think the pipe major(or person tapping their foot) is off beat alot, and not always tapping his foot. The bass drummer should constantly watch his foot which should always be on beat. The set selection is good, paddy's and banjo breakdown arent bad tunes (or hard) to sound good in a preformance. Oh yes and attack and cut off drills are in need :)(Comming in and cutting out at the same time)
i don't know if its just the video but the bass drummer isn't loud enough, you should be able to hear them stand out, depending how loud a piper is playing they may not be able to hear the bass drummer, there for they may stop at the wrong time and that would totally mess up the set. I also agree with 001bagpiper, you need new reeds. other than that not too shabby!
this is good but the pipers need to listen to eachother and so do the drummers in some places it gets a lil bit out of time and some places it is rushed but it sounds really good other than that!! be proud guys =] GREAT JOB love the drum solo in the middle =]
Well done, but would be better with tenor drummers
