Wow carving makes 8s now...The lead tone really cuts through, and sustain is very good. I still prefer ibanez clean tone.

I have to say that this Carvin sounds lot better live than any other guitars Tosin Abasi ever used.

@bANDynamiTe In my personal opinion: After playing guitars from pretty much every well known manufacturer out there I can say without a doubt that Carvin guitars are probably the best instruments on the planet. Just my opinion and everyone has different needs both musically and ergonomically but I really do believe that Carvin guitars are the most flawless guitars being made right now and their active pickups are beyond compare. Give em a shot! You'll never go back! :-)
