  • Why get one of those when you can get Game & Watch games on the Nintendo DSi Shop/Nintendo 3DS eShop. That's how I have Game & Watch Mario's Cement Factory on my 3DS.

  • does anyone else remember unscrewing one of these things, removing the background drawing and replacing it with one that you drew yourself. my sister had a non nintendo (i think) one called volcano, which you could do this with.

  • Do you know Hipopotam? They worked on "Pica Pic" a playable archive of LCD games. I'll qoute the email i got when i sent them one. in a reply.

  • If you really want to donate please send us games that you would like to see on pica pic. Just be sure to check if you can display all of the elements at once on the screen. Usually by pressing ACL button or by removing and putting in the batteries (all Nintendo and Tiger games have this ability). Just tell us what you want to send and if we don't have it we will give you our address. After digitalizing the game, We can send it back to you if you like.

  • Absolutely brilliant!!!! I had a bunch of these when I was a kid. I remember playing with them when in the car. My dad always saying, "no wonder she never knows where she's going!!! She's always playing those damn things!!!!". Now I'm saying a similar thing to my son when he's playing his DS in the car!!! Lol. I had a tri-screen game also made by "Vtech Tri-Screen Time & Fun" called "Deep Diver". Much smaller screens than the Nintendo but still heaps of fun. Ahh..trips down memory lane!

    they remade them eight or nine years ago as the nintendo gameboy classics (at least that's what they were called in europe) and they lokked like a tiny gameboy which could be flipped up and then you had the two screens and the buttons. great stuff! :)

  • The games were so-so but sumpn about the unit - the buttons, the materials, the Liquid Crystal display (still novel in 1982) and even the packaging - it was so attractive to a 10 year old kid in 1982 - i wanted one soooooo bad!

After he find it and wanted to grab it, he then regonized that 9-volt was here too, then they say sorry to each other, then they become back friends again.

  • They should re-release these for collectors. I just got Game & Watch Collection for the Nintendo DS for 800 coins on Club Nintendo, and playing the 3 games on that, I'm in the mood to play the rest. I'd definitely buy them up if they got a modern-day re-release.
