  • Beautiful Sharde, I'm so proud of you. I remember when you were in fourth grade and you would sit with me at recess on the hill and sing to me....Ms Newman

  • see how u do in ur nineties asswipe

  • Shes way better then her grandfather

  • Shimmy She Wobble asshole!

  • I am deeply touched. She has a tremendous talent. Watching her and her drummers play gives me hope that this music will continue to be a living artform. I get a strong sense from this that Othar Turner's music and the musical traditions of North Mississippi will live on! For lovers of this musical tradition, this is a joy to see!

  • I've seen Sharde twice in the past 2 years and she so impressed me and touched me with her music and her voice, and her stage presence. This is such a lovely tribute to her grandfather. She is a "rising star" and I hope she continues this tradition. Thanks for sharing the video - it is pure joy!

  • I saw Sharde play at a farm party in Como, Mississippi. She totally blew me away, amazing musician at such a young age. She also played the drums, keyboard & sang. She is most definitely a force to be reckoned with. I wish her all the best in life and look forward to seeing her again.

  • she's just a great player,

Someone from the netherlands who admires her talent.

  • Fantastic Otha would be so proud - picked up one of his cds this week.

  • Aw yeah! It warms my heart to hear this music being kept alive. Rock on, indeed!

  • rock on sharde!
