this recipe looks delicious and healthy, i was wondering if you could substatute other types of fruit for the blueberry and is so if you woulf need any changes to the recipe if your did change the fruit. thanks for the recipes keep up the great work ladies!!
I've been on the hunt for healthy dessert recipes. Just made these today, and substituted half of the oil with apple sauce and used less sugar overall since I used honey as a sweetener in addition to the sugar. So delicious!I love the tanginess that the o.j. adds. Thanks for another awesome recipe.
This is the first time I've ever seen muffins without milk, it's interesting but the muffins look a wee-bit on the dry and dense side. I think this may be better for tea time than for an actual snack by itself.
does it have to be fresh orange juice or a tropicana will do??? and wheat flour has to be the one we use for chapati...or just completely different wheat flour
i love all ur dishes have tried a few of them and it has always turned out as a hit with my family i am hoping to try this as well however i dont have an oven so can this be done using a convection microwave? if so how long should these be in there and also what is the heat i must put this on? thanks in advance
@x3loveyuki Whole wheat flour doesn't rise as well as regular all purpose flour. Typically, whole wheat flour is mixed with something else in baking because it's so heavy. Whole wheat appears in breads more than muffins, and not everyone likes it because it is indeed, denser. But better for you! :D
@x3loveyuki Yea tends to happen when you're baking with only whole wheat flour. I like to do a mixture of whole wheat flour and almond or brown rice flour. Turns out nice and fluffy that way.
Is whole wheat flour different from the regular wheat flour that we use for roti? Can we use the regular wheat flour for this recipe?

love your recipes ladies, but please note that Canola oil has been shown to be bad for the body. I use coconut oil instead.
Raniji1 6 months ago
@Raniji1 actually, coconut oil is the worst oil you can use. It is mostly made of saturated fats.

Hi Hetal & Anuja, can you tell the exact measurement of flax seeds ( for eggless option)?
anshumee1 6 months ago
@anshumee1 1 tblsp of flaxseed meal with 3 tblsp of warm water - mix well and let it rest for 2 to 3 mins... that's your egg substitute!
