Nice work, but I really hope that you didn't grey out the area's frame by frame...

Seeing the scenes... it looks like he had to. He'd have to mask out a scene frame by frame depending on how much movement there is.. . then copy and paste it on another video track under it.. get rid of the second mask.. make it grayscale... Ouch, I've tried that too and I only had the patience to do a few seconds of that kind of effect... Its amazing.
