i like how stewart lees character is shown as being a rebel for smoking in school yet now days he would be classed as a rebel for smoking in a pub! how times change :(
I used to absolutely love this programme when it was on BBC2 6pm. The stuff they used to slip by the censors was unbelievable. The words "mind you, they're all brown mice by the time I've finished with them" was once suggested without being spoken aloud.
They began to repeat it on Tuesdays at 6. I remember because I was so glad; I thought maybe it would gain more popularity. Alas, Lee & Herring largely remain unsung heroes of British comedy.
@MavisRileyJunior The original show used to be shown at 12:30pm on Sundays, it was the repeat that was on Friday nights (was also moved to evenings too). I remember watching it thinking how the hell are they allowed to show this especially the first episode where Richard Herring is explaining that Mel C has the ability to jump so she can steal your gametes.

@MavisRileyJunior the repeat was on in the evening. Uncensored, but half the jokes didn't make sense as they cut the bleeping.
