When the bari does the "Auld Land Syne" part while everyone else is holding, don't cut off to quickly after "Syne." Use that as what I call a "Barbershop Moment." Meaning pause at the chord for a brief moment. Then take a breath and move on. That's the beauty of barbershop...it's meant to be sung "freely" and not as it is written. The notes on the page are just guides...it's up to the barbershopper to put his/her feelings into it. Just a little tip for ya. Keep working...your doin good!
