i actually did black last.. i laid down what i wanted green.. than masked it off.. srayed it yellow and masked off what i wanted yellow.. than sprayed the whole thing red and masked off what i wanted red than sprayed black last because its the easiest to cover the other colors with

nope! and like my orange and blue controller i have had over 6 months and no problems what so ever.. I cant stress it enough as long as you prep and clear coat right your controller will do just fine
