Of all the records I lost in my storage shed debacle, this one I truly miss , it was in my collection for 30 years and I loved every song. thanks to JeffJukebox for these posts peace and many blessings
The first time I heard this album...my mind took off...the album i first heard this on was in mono....the power of Airplanes was explosive even on the beautiful sound of Mono!
"Soulful" is the word that comes to mind when I hear Marty singing. He was a talented vocalist and composer. I recently saw the Jefferson Starship in Cleveland, and it was unclear if Marty was going to be part of the line-up. Unfortunately he wasn't there, but I later learned that he has a daughter with health problems with whom he wanted to spend time. What a guy!
What a brilliant band.

A transitional period for Marty and the group. From folkies to blues tinged. A great LP.
