  • What do you mean those shocks are bad..... I could get another hunerd thousand miles outta them sons of bitches.

  • Did it make the ride rough

  • very cool. i just bought the same brand for my 73 mustang coupe. i will be putting them in this week.

  • How many inches of lift in the rear did those shocks give you? I'm thinking of putting them on my car to stiffen it up when needed. Good vid.

  • Fucking ey

    Nicely done, props

  • how old r u

  • hey bro! i got the similar air shock on my car, but the left side of the shock/hose is not going up when im putting the air. what do you think its wrong with it??? both sides are at 60psi right now and when i put air one side goes up and the other stays down. have any idea whats wrong with them???

  • what brand of shocks are those and where did u order them did u ever see how ur truck rides after that have a 81 shortbed c10 im working on and the shocks on it look about like your old ones lol

  • the brand is hijacker. they ride really nice. i will post a vid to show you how they are installed with the hoses and everything. i was meaning to anyways. its a 200 % difference than before.

  • thanks alot cant wait to see the vid where did u order them?

  • i got them off ebay but you can get them at advance auto too i think.

  • @ndubecky2494 My comments are for helping, not criticizing. What you removed are your suspension system dampeners, not shocks. The term 'shocks' is misleading and most people misunderstand it. Your leaf springs are your shocks. The job of the dampeners you removed is to slow the fast bouncy rebound reaction of your leaf springs. You can drive the truck without the dampeners and you will see imediately what I mean. The dampners are not for holding up any weight at all, only for smoothing/slowing.

  • @vwtypelll Your old 'dampeners' actually appear to still work at 100%. From what you showed they are working as they should. The outside appearance is diseaving and has zero effect on the actual shocks condition. As long as the seals still hold and don't leak and the dampener moves slowly, smoothly, and quietly it is still good. Your new hijackers have dampeners and shocks built in them. They are 'assist' shocks. If they didn't have the dampeners but only the air shocks -you would bounce around.

  • THOSE OLD SHOCKS ARE THE SHIT! LOL JK! My broncos shocks arent shot but im gonna use them for a while till i get enough money for my new rancho shocks :)

  • nice truck man. I just bought a 72, fleetside, shortbed, hope everything turns out well like yours..
