Lovely smile and obvious talent on the guitar. Keep at it. However, get yourself a Cd of the Shadows greatest hits, the instrumental band from the UK. You need to listen to some more melodic lead work which means dipping back past the heavy metal era and into the 50s. It will add to your arsenal of material to draw from in your own music.

you're amazing girl, nuff said. i'm a guitarist my self and not to be rude but a have to agree with the others, work that vibrato :) , i have a cool little technique when i make the vibrato. for long lasting ones you must use kind of a lose wrist and combine with your fingers. and imagine pulling back and forth that's the movement you want from your fingers while still using the wrist as a combination.

this technique should work totally awesome with soloing or blues tones Fx.

this one is not bad..just that you need to work on your vibrato..wider and if u sustain it longer it will sound better..and using pinky is a must. and some slides before hitting the note will give more color to the sound

Nice Desiree'. My ONLY critiques would be to start learning to use your pinky and work on a wider, smoother vibrato. Great start for a budding talent in the next generation of actual musicians.

I can only imagine how she'll sound when she learns to utilize her left pinky. With that being said..Django Reinhardt manged quite well w/o using all of his fingers.

Where does "tone" come from? Tone comes from within. A good guitarist understands the dynamics of music. That's what one should be working on to achieve good tone. Great guitar players all understand this, the different levels of loudness and softness in a piece of music. The way in which to reproduces them during a performance. Dynamics is tone, that's all I have to say for now. ROCK ON!
