  • Upstrokes, man. Use 'em.

  • Good good good stuff.

Main thing I liked about it is how you sticked with Travis' guitar parts, and didn't switch around much (to my knowledge at least)

I'm actually slowly getting this song down. Pretty fun to play.

  • whats that thing that fell on 0:10

  • sounds great, but try looking on cobalt and calcium (.com) for the tabs for the verse.

    again great cover

    5*

  • thanks man! i'm actually not all that happy with this cover. i realized i played it a little too slow and it's just much harder to play on my acoustic, so i've been thinking about making a new version on my electric.

  • Heh. I guess i was being kind of ignorant. Your pretty good at both. :)

  • Alot better of a guitarist then a drummer.

  • actually i'm much better at drums. you're just dumb and judged my drumming abilities on one song. =]

  • yea dude, and how would you say that? this song is unbelievably easy.

  • this is really good, but some slight changes, and it could be amazing. if you move your thumb off the back, your hand wouldn't stick to the neck when you change chords, and you could get those more complicated parts instead of having to simplify them.

  • how long you been playing guitar?

  • around 6 years, but i never got that into it until recently since i don't have my drums where i live anymore

  • what happened to your drums?

  • i moved to san francisco for college, and wasn't able to bring them with me. my dad actually brought them up recently though, but the houses here are way too close together so i can't play them until i figure out a way to sound proof the garage =[

  • hmmm... the third person to rate this video gave me 1 star. i don't see how they could really think it was THAT bad =/

  • I'm not much of a guitar player but aren't you supposed to tuck your picking hand in instead of sticking your fingers out? >.> Actually I don't play guitar at all lawl.

  • i don't think it really matters?

i just tried tucking them in right now, and it felt really weird to me.

  • It apparently increases your speed in the long run, makes you use your wrist more, some other stuff about stamina and muscles too lol. I'm sending you a picture of a guy holding it the right way, found it at a guitar basics site :P

  • It's really just what is more comfortable for the player. Guitar has no LAWS prohibitting or restricting anything.

  • I agree, but all the world-famous guitarists hold the pick the way I said :P

  • haha, but it really doesn't matter so get over it. :P

  • "Actually I don't play guitar at all lawl."

Right, so STFU. He did a better cover of IKSSE than 95% of the others on Youtube, so who the hell cares how he holds his pick?

  • Calm down lol. It's a great cover and all but constructive criticism is much more helpful than "omg that was awesome!11" Smf is pretty cool, I'm sure he can take advice. Better than you anyway :P

  • awesome!!!

  • nice...woot first comment...and still nice
