Hammer no hammer. It all sounds good, and is recognizable as only Skynyd could be. Gaines was a genius who left us early. Would have been very cool to see SRV and Steve Gaines have a chance to collaborate.

The 1st riff here the guy plays incorrectly. It actually is a double-hammer. You pick the 10th fret on the D string (C) and then you hammer onto the 11th fret and then hammer onto the 14th fret. 2 quick hammers in succession is how it's done, not like this guy does it.

Howdy there, sonicjourney. Greg Koch is an amazing player. However I think on this one he is incorrect. I listened very closely and it sounds like the 2nd and 3rd notes are hammered. My teacher taught me this song about 7 years ago and he taught me the hammer way, which was out of a published skynyrd tab book. The hammer way just sounds more accurate to me.
