  • Good lesson buddy.

  • WOW, mesa like it :D nailed it to the end man!! :D

  • VERY NICE !

  • Ha ha! Slow down the hard parts mang! Let's see, is there a Youtube speed control knob? NOT!

  • What's up with the skip at 0:15?

  • @ldiedt there's no skip there... that's a snare drum 'flam' as I think they call it

  • The best video on this song I've seen anywhere! Seeing as it's all in A, it's really pretty easy once you see it done. Keep Rockin!

  • no one can play that song like steve gaines RIP...

  • very cool!! TY!!

  • holy shit man. i've been pressing replay for like an hour but i think i'm getting somewhere. thanx for the vid.

  • sweet!

  • i envy you

  • Bravo! Gotta love it.

  • SO!!!! much better than guitar hero

  • You have the same closet I do!

  • Just got home from a Skynyrd show not 3 hr. ago, and yes they did this plus all the rest of there old stuff we all love.

  • Hammer no hammer. It all sounds good, and is recognizable as only Skynyd could be. Gaines was a genius who left us early. Would have been very cool to see SRV and Steve Gaines have a chance to collaborate.

  • Wow, that's one of the few guitar licks that sounds inspired by Chuck Berry that doesn't sound like Chuck Berry.

Mighty tasty finger licken good rifts.

  • This is good chicken pickin and farm fiddelin..WTF?

  • wow 5/5 too bad not alot of people play this type of music anymore

  • thats the hadrest song i know ! and u play it so good .

  • great job, love it. great interpretation of the lick...fantastic

  • The 1st riff here the guy plays incorrectly. It actually is a double-hammer. You pick the 10th fret on the D string (C) and then you hammer onto the 11th fret and then hammer onto the 14th fret. 2 quick hammers in succession is how it's done, not like this guy does it.

  • you'd better watch signature licks with greg koch.... its all picked .

  • Howdy there, sonicjourney. Greg Koch is an amazing player. However I think on this one he is incorrect. I listened very closely and it sounds like the 2nd and 3rd notes are hammered. My teacher taught me this song about 7 years ago and he taught me the hammer way, which was out of a published skynyrd tab book. The hammer way just sounds more accurate to me.

  • I tried finding this one, but couldn't; would you point me in the right direction?

  • signature licks (legendado) lesson Maubahia posted it

  • that's fine work - you gotta good right hand, just need to relax a bit now

I don't wanna seem ungrateful, but I agree with bangonzedrums, the bit u slowed down is the easiest part of the whole thing... thanks anyway, helped me a lot...

  • Steve Earl Gaines.

  • Dude... why would you only slow down one part? And the easiest part, no less. I nailed that part with no problem... it'd be extremely helpful if you slowed down the parts that are actually difficult and need to be slowed down.

  • oh dios mio! eres un maquina!

  • thanks

  • que puto crack

  • Beware of this guy. I bought a DVD from him that did not play and the replacement was "lost in the mail". Good guitar player-bad business man.

  • wow! u rock but you shoul put the complete song

  • THAT WAS AWESOME!! you are very good and clearly a talented and gifted musician. you got every note. i have a hard time picking as fast as that. you will go far. keep on rockin!

  • great job that song is a real hard one...keep playing

  • that was awesome!

  • Great guitar player, bro! I posted a video response. It's my band playing in 1996, in Brasília. Sory, the vocal cant speak english... but we try! I play bass. Keep on rocking!!!

  • Wow! Note for note from what I heard. But then again, I'm having a good time right now! Yaaaaaa!!!!!! ! Very cool. Sounds great.

  • Tabs also help, there should be a TAB link to aid the exact transcription. Standard tuning, etc.

  • excellent , do it again , but this time show the entire thing at quarter speed ,please!!!

  • Nice One!

  • Um W O W!!!! Steve Gaines is the man, and you have got that down my man! Great job, and thanks for sharing it!! A++++++++++
