I was at the Toyota museum this summer and it is really cool to see their robotics section. This one obviously wasn't there yet, just the earlier one which plays the trumpet.

This robot must of been rebuilt, it has new legs similar to the running Toyota robot, also it looks more solid and has a pearl White color like the Sony Rolly.

@risesaumon It has been rebuilt by Toyota so it has the newer motors, new type of hands/arms and the new version of the legs quite like the Toyota running robot.

Thats real. It is playing a really simple tune, and if you watch the arm holding the bow, it is making movements a human wrist can't.

Plus, why would Toyota lie? especially after all the bad publicity they have gotten recently...

Toyota always impresses me by their efficacity and sincerety.

Through the recent moment of blames, my respect for behavior of Toyota became even higer.

About Honda, I don't know and I don't think neither that they lied concerning robots and others.

They wouldn't want to evolute Asimo simply. It's regrettable though.

But more regrettable might be the decision of Sony... their robot was so sweet in You Tube.

@risesaumon yeah, I actually own two Sony robots, AIBO and Rolly do im mighty pissed off about sony discontinuing their robots.

Luckly Sony still market Rolly in japan but they stopped selling them here in the UK and the US. Sad really, it only failed because of the price they were selling it for. I paid £250, the original price, and i wouldn't mind paying that again for another one in a different colour, i love my Rolly.
