I agree with the uploader of the vid. the reason why SWAT didn't fire wasn't because of a family inside. (If that was a issue they would be armed with P90's and other 5.7 firearms.)
Lesson that should be learned from this by all SWAT teams- ALWAYS have an EMS unit staged nearby when performing high risk warrant service. Sgt. Powe was lucky he wasn't even more seriously injured. Had they had an EMS unit staged, advanced life support could have been started and he could have been transported within a couple of minutes.

When is SWAT going to learn the fucking term - "Tactics?" They already have the search warrant so why not conduct a simple traffic stop? I guess they can't be bothered to wait a day or two. Lesson that should be learned from this by all SWAT teams- ALWAYS have an EMS unit staged nearby when performing high risk warrant service. Sgt. Powe was lucky he wasn't even more seriously injured. Had they had an EMS unit staged, advanced life support could have been started and he could have been transported within a couple of minutes.
