If you were a girl I would tell you to stay at my sister's all-girl surf camp in Nicaragua, called "Chica Brava". Hell, if you are a guy this would be an even better choice, but you'd probably have to dress in drag to get in. Otherwise, if you center yourself around San Juan Del Sur you will be in the area which is famous for the all-day offshore wind. There are a lot of cheap lodging options there, as well as good partying. Most of the nearby waves are not as gnarly as the surf in this video.
