It's a good video, but I recommend that you practice public speaking. You're speaking tooooooooo fassssssst dude, and you're not pronouncing properly, nor are you speaking consistently into the microphone.
Karl Marx was a psycho. If he just had keept hes mouth shut and do something else with hes life then more than 80 million innocent lives could had been spared. He responsible for creating lunatics like "lenin, stalin, mao zeedong, pol pot, kil il sung etc". The left has caused allot of damage and naivity. Including the Right socialism of Hitler.
That,s Me That is what I believe. Iv always believed this and sadly to say All the Fears Iv believed have come to fruition in my life time. I despise the culture of Capitalistic Greed. The culture of Greed. That is the Capitalist Dream. Capitalism will not stop until its own destruction Much like Marx Surmised.
here's a music vid on Obama's Socialism. We've lost the country folks. No other generation managed to do that. Future, and less self loathing generations will take it back when they realize what we had and lost.
@jojmanful he's far from a socialist..lol..he bailed out his buddies with our tax dollars...he supports what is called Corporatism aka Capitalism on steroids.
@gangstamind187 Well, he's a Socialist in the mold of most Socialist leaders. The ideaology only applies to his 'subjects', not him. Corporatism is only allowed to be applied by 'him'. as well. Very informative video, by the way.
"You must believe that communism or socialism is the last and final stage of the human social development." WHAT!?? Laissez faire is the best and more efficient means of producing for the common good. Get over the Communism, or socialism nonsense, and jump on the band wagon that is freedom of the many. Power of the appointed.
- how can someone support Marxism when they must too support the notion that there exists a *final stage of human social evolution* (communism). Thats bullshit we are constantly changing and evolving until we die
- yes, class conflict is the source of conflicts; so what? We are not infinitely peaceful creatures, we have conflicting aspects of society, communism is no exception. Like ALL OTHER THINGS IN NATURE, we have competition and different levels of growth. Human Society is no different.
i never said he was entirely correct but he did however predicted most of the problems that is taking place today such as exploitation in the name of free trade, monopolization, and society's fetishism on useless commodities. on the other hand Marx was the political and economic force between the let me put it this way Engels was Scottie Pippen and Marx was Michael Jordan. Don't forget BBC named Marx the Greatest and most Influential thinker and Philosopher of all time. this was a good chat Bro
you fucking idiots you don't know shit about Marxism you illiterate typical morons. Marxism is truly scientific socialism which is still a theory and was never practiced. the Marxism that was took place in in the soviet was a theory not a practice, they implemented their own view of Marxism which was Totalitarianism. AND NOT MARXISM, IF U CONSIDER UR SELF A MARXIST THEN U R AN EGALITARIAN HUMAN BEING.
@isninoismymom Curious, what is an atypical moron? Next, Marxism can indeed be considered "scientific socialism" and as you say, "theory;" therefore it is subject to scientific credulity that shows it is deeply flawed. And finally, your conclusion is false: Stalin (and MANY other dictators) considered himself a Marxist and most definitely was not egalitarian.
@kinakem Like every theory there is some flaws just like evolution, but Marxism the way Marx and Engels put it was never meant for the dictatorship of the proletariat. it stood for Democratic egalitarian ideals. Lenin himself propagated that Marx encouraged the whole dictatorship in his book "STATE AND REVOLUTION" and when true Marxists like Rosa Luxemberg started to contradict his flaws he split from the party and created the Bolsheviks. The former Soviet was the total opposite of Marxiasm
@isninoismymom Actually, you are not entirely correct, but that is ok. We can work from there. Engels was the political force. Marx was an economist. His only true work was Das Kapital. The Manifesto was more of a joint-effort. Oddly, a close analysis gives the impression that not even Marx agreed with all the words but was forced to comply by some form of peer-pressure. Proper Marxism is an economic theory. So we can discuss that aspect without having to go into the politics e.g. Soviets.
@kinakem True Marx was an economic genius and is his three works of Das Capitalis the most recognized of his work in which he greatly criticizes the inefficiencies of capitalism and its means of production, coming back to the whole dictatorship Grachus Babuef a captain of the Jacobin during the French Revolution was the one who encouraged the dictatorship of the masses by a few, and Lenin himself idolized the guy. FYI Communism was meant to take place in an industrialized nation like Germany.
@isninoismymom Yes I am aware. But that is exactly what is limiting of Marx. His attitudes are too provincial and specific to his era. He can hardly be blamed because he is a disciple of Hegel except where Hegel used "spirit" as driving force, Marx uses "materialism" or economics. This is where I think many of the mistakes lay with Marxism. It is effectively "too scientific." He had a poor understanding of human nature. On theoretical grounds, Marxism is defective.
@kinakem remember he split from the Hegelian thought and said that Hegel was being too apologetic to the bourgeoises. I do know what you are talking about concerning Hegel and his thought on man's desire to be recognized. but know this Hegel was some what of a dialectic insofar as Chaos giving rise to society and civilization. but Marx chose economics because he simplified where Hegel, Hobbes, Locke, and Kant complicated it all comes down to this Money because people strive for financial gain
@isninoismymom Now this doesnt mean that he was entirely wrong in his theories. I mean there are a few things I agree with but it is with his main thesis and analysis of economics and how society should evolve that I disagree. BTW - I thank you for this exchange. It seems civil and educated so far; a relief from another video post commentary I have been involved in where some guy decided he was the Chosen One and all kinds of nonsense ensued. It was a "creationists vs science" post.
I could have summarized it all much better. Marxism is a bunch of nonsense that has nothing to do w/ anything that has ever happened in the real world, & never will have anything to do w/ the real world.
Communists, altho atheists, still observe two sacred traditions: one is to live in non-communist countries, usually the US, because who in their right mind would want to experience the deprivations of communism. The other is to explain the repeated failures of communist regimes, specifically the collapse of the Soviet Union, by saying "Well, they weren't really communist after all". Pete Seeger observes both.
The American Historical Review, among the oldest and most prestigious academic journals in the United States, has condemned Service’s biography of Trotsky, saying that it "fails to meet the basic standards of historical scholarship". The review has explicitly endorsed the critique of Service's book by David North, the chairman of both the Socialist Equality Party in the United States and the international editorial board of the World Socialist Web Site.
the fact is that Marxist, sets up an elite class, that dictates. They govern NOT for the workers but for their OWN power. They dictate from the cradle to the grave..because " we are too stupid to make our own choices" At least in capitalism we are free to prosper or fail, sell our labor to the highest bidder. those who fail cry about unfairness, those who succeed are punished for that success by the left.
@zombielandful Just an obsevation...If Communism, marxism was or is, so great, then why build walls, and train guns on the population to keep them in? and why does the population try to escape from those nations? asking if i am high or stupid is rather sophomoric, if i must say. If your beliefs or observations are differant than mine I welcome adult dialoge and debate. I would like to read your oppinion. I will promise YOU sir that i will ask if you are high or stupid. Have a great week
@medic9five first of all in the countries you're are thinking of ussr, cuba, china were not communist but socialist, and i do not defend the soviet union as the ussr was a corrupt beurocracy (although life in ussr was better than life in modern russia). and i would welcome an adult debate. i'm glad there are actually people in the world who wouldn't just go on an all caps rage and call me a tard. you have a great week too.
@zombielandful a good reply, thank you. I prefer not to call people " tards" Disagrement, and debate, opposing views are one of the things that make this nation great.
(MOSCOW) - A recently opened exhibition in Moscow's State Historical Museum is shedding some light on a long-guarded Russian secret: the origins of Soviet founding father Vladimir Lenin. Lenin's maternal grandfather, the exhibition revealed, was born Jewish.
Born in 1870, Lenin identified himself simply as Russian'
@StSimonMartyr ohkay, who the fuck cares, the whole point of marxism is to get rid of classes and differences, exactly the opposite of what your trying to do asshole
@StSimonMartyr The USSR was anti-semitic, they banned Jewish literature of all sorts, they even tried to ban people from using the Hebrew language altogether as it was perceived as a form of "bourgeois nationalism" and to top it all off many Jews were imprisoned and murdered in the Gulags. Lenin and Stalin wanted to ban all religion, not approve of one over another, although one could argue their form of Communism was quasi-religious in nature.
@StSimonMartyr Do you also believe that the USA never landed on the moon, 9/11 was orchestrated by the government, and that Billy Graham is an athiest?
@Lamboragon wow, thats some intense stuff in a HS class. I find Friedman way to right-wing, but anyway Hayek is indeed profound pertaining to fascism, anyway don't let me bother any longer, and have a good read!
@Lamboragon while i would agree with you pertaining North Korea, i would disagree in the sense that all socialism is communism (or so called communism i.e. DPRK) and that all socialism is slavery.
@Lamboragon If so who are the slaves? Because the workers would not to be slaves themselves, right? So obviously you no little if anything about socialism or anything about human nature, because people don't want to become slaves.
@markkking We are the slaves you fools.Take a look around you(in the real world) not one's ideologies. Democracy, socialism, and Communism are all fraudulent systems.Everyone is a crook in all offices of authority. From a judge, to the highest office in the land(HUMAN NATURE). you wanna debate ideologies?? People really make me question the intelligence of the so-called smartest animal .It's all an illusion!!They let you vote on gay marriage, but not world changing wars! YOU ARE A SLAVE! WAKE UP!!!
@markkking Wars that you pay for!!!! What a great system! Btw I meant they keep us debating i.e. gay marriage, while making all the laws, money, military decisions(WITHOUT UR PERMISSION)! Go watch dancing with the stars like all the other sheep do,and know your place!!I'm Done wiping the floor with another victim that thinks like a sheep!!
Most of the so called 'victims' died as the result of famines and natural disasters. In some cases this may have been exacerbated by poor public and economic management, but that's very different to deliberate mass murder.
Chill out Heinrich. It's true that Marxism has, historically speaking, usually had Jews at the center of the movement but this is not necessarily due to a conspiracy by the Jews to "destroy the west". If it were they would have tailored it more to suit the conditions of Europe and the United States rather than the conditions of Russia, China, Korea or Cuba.
@reveal1914 LOL, you know nothing.....It was Stalin and Mao that did that. They were NOT marxists. Im a Marxist and i dont like Stalin nor Mao. Lenin and Marx were good people :)
@chris96kalonji Marx - "At the same pace that mankind masters nature, man seems to become enslaved to other men or to his own infamy. Even the pure light of science seems unable to shine but on the dark background of ignorance."
give what you can, take what you need. stop working for profit work to live, work to help, work to give not to take, don't live to gain, live to live, live to be happy, don't stand alone, stand together, don't be better than others, don't be worse that others.
"Only in the mind of a monster - and not that of a man - could such a plan take shape".
Hitler was right; Marxism, despite its overtures to the working class, is really a Jewish ruse to debase superior races whom belong to superior nations.
@CnutRexAnglorum Hang on, from what i can tell, Marxism is about giving the power to the working class. Hitler was for ethnic purification. The jews were only viewed like that by the nazi's because they held onto their money, and were seen as a threat to society because of that. There was no "ruse to debase" as you so put it...
@CnutRexAnglorum Are you referring to Marxism? Marxism as a political system has never existed. Stalin created his own form of Communism that wasn't really communism at all, and it definitely wasn't socialism. Also, views and political views don't kill people, people kill people. It does not say once in the COMMUNIST Manifesto that we should kill each other. And lets count how many people have died under capitalism :) probably more than you or I can count.
Capitalism has evolved to the point that it can no longer deal with its internal contradictions like paying agri-businesses subsidies not to grow crops while millions go hungry or shutting down factories with so many unemployed etc. etc.
We need to evolve to a higher more humane system that puts people before profit.
@ourben yes, even Lenin the biggest screw up of a Marxist knew this. However he was crazy and obsessed with centralization of everything. As Engels said "It is a true democratic state absolutely controlled by the people". In Leninist doctrines it talks about the people electing a group of leaders, but the people have no control of them. This is contradictory to what Marx and Engels say
Fairly accurate man. At the end I would have made the point that "revolution" doesn't necessarily mean violence or anything of that nature. Marx never said how communism would happen or what it would be like, just that it happens naturally when the conditions are right.
It usually becomes repressive and antidemocratic. Many Marxists at the time disagreed strongly with Lenin and they believed that the people must liberate themselves, but that the communists (Marxists) should educate the people on how to do create a socialist state. Marx believed that workers should make up the democratic government, not revolutionaries.
If you study Marxism you find a grand truth. Marxism has never happened, there has never been a Marxist revolution anywhere. In a Marxist revolution there is full democracy and no oppression. Marx said that politicians must be chose by the people and must fully represent them. If not the people must impeach that politician. Marxism-Leninism is Lenin's version. He advocates that a vanguard party should be established and that the communists must lead and rule the people
@4500jas Exactly! It clicked for me before I'd actually studied Marx - which felt kind of awesome. The most stable societies in history, and presently, are tribal communists. Their off putting primitivism is purely circumstantial because they live in small places. What matters is the key difference between us and them: private property => capital => class. Legal systems are the last vestige of private property capitalism. If we change that and we'll change the world forever.
I get a lot of complaints saying that this couldn't work and that you can't have an utopia. Well, duh, of course there will be problems, but that hasn't stopped progress so far. What a pathetic excuse that really is... seriously. We'll solve the problems, that's what people do! They will be solved without anyone getting paid, because that has already happened before. Enough with the defeatist attitude!
So do some of you have it figured that if we really did adopt a proper Marxist way of governing and sociality, that you wouldn't be able to really be who you wanted to be ever since you were a little boy or girl? That your individual golas in life would never come into fruition? Sure you can. You just have to fix the social issues first. To come together and work it all out like an orderly, responsible country should. Buyt everyone's out for themself today and aren't getting any farther either.
@kubaniski That might be because we aren't capitalist anymore; we're much more socialist. Our transition started at the end of the Gilded Age and the entrance of Trustbuster Teddy. The transition period ended with FDR and the New Deal, or sometime around there.
capitalism in america has big problems but i like the fact that if i try hard enough pay attention and do good in school i can make something of myself and i know alot of people yes real people who have i dont like the fact that we alow people to become rediculously rich there should be a cap i dont like homelessness and idont like the fact that we are pretty much a two party system im neither dem or rep they are just the left wing and right wing of the same bird
@atkidz Well said. Since some people are always willing to work harder, learn more, and go further then others captilism is only fair. The people who cry out captilism is evil and should end neglect to acknowledge the SIGNIFICANT role greed plays in the painting the picture of capitalism. If greed is removed, a cap on the rich as you said and environmental consideration occur, we have a system that works. Its not flawless just like any other system but its fair and by far the best.
Evil is a religious concept and not relevent to what Marxists view capitalism as.
As a matter of fact Marx starts of by acknowledging the aspects that many beorgoise thinkers are enamored with. Marx's critique is more like a prophecy as to the destiny of capitalism which is that the continous reinvention of industry will continue keep more and more people unemployed.
This is already happening as we speak and this trend will continue. Only a minority benefit from capitalism.
@kingmafi6699 Goodpoint. When it comes down to it in my opinion you dont really have to worry about capitalism interfering or effecting your life if you were to live a sustainable lifestyle. So growing your own food, raising chickens, installing a wind turbine, working hard, and simply living the old fashioned way.Now the irony here is it will take capitalism to acheive all this. All this technology is temporary.I hate to be pessimistic but events in the future will bring us back to the stone age
If there is no need for workers at the assembly line then there is no need for capital thus society should in theory be able to provide for everyone without a profit market system.
Whatever work remains should be voluntary and based on ones interests and love for innovative thinking thus everyone should be free to pursue whatever lifestyle suits them without spending 90% of their adult doing repetitive labor.
"All this technology is temporary.I hate to be pessimistic but events in the future will bring us back to the stone age"
What's your reasoning behind that theory? The stone age was the stone age because no one knew how to smelt ore or how to write. No one had ever done it. All the technology was trial and error. We know how to do that stuff now, so unless all the smart people die along with technology, we'll get back on our feet
@KayBeeEee1983 What if (bare with me here) the stone age was a result of lost technologies and near human extinction? Just a theory however can anyone really disprove it? So my reasoning behind this theory is unforseen events such as solar flares, famine, plagues, natural disasters, nuclear war are never really out of the question and its in our best interest to prepare for the worst
@danbusinessman Dude, that was a real, legitimate fear that many people had during the 40+ years of the Cold War. Of course it could happen. You should've said "I THINK events in the future will bring us back to the stone age". I thought you had something specific in mind.
@kingmafi6699 "the continous reinvention of industry will continue keep more and more people unemployed."
He was totally wrong. The unemployed will use their brains to come up with new ways to make money. The result is called "progress". Without industry, those brains would go to waste on an assembly line.
There was a news article recently citing study showing how increased efficiency in manufacturing technology has resulted in fewer people being employed directly in manufacturing itself.
The increasing level of unemployment in the west can be traced to this disappearance of manufacturing and increasingly to service based employment which in my view will not keep the population buoyant.
@kingmafi6699 Did you stop reading after I said "He was totally wrong," or did it all just fly right over your head? I'll paste it again, but this time I'll emphasize the most important part.
The unemployed will USE THEIR BRAINS TO COME UP WITH NEW WAYS TO MAKE MONEY. The result is called "progress". Without industry, those brains would go to waste on an assembly line.
@KayBeeEee1983 industry has been moved to cheaper countries for e.g. ur ipod is made by a company who pays its worker 31 cents a hour, verbally and physically abuses them if they talk or go for a break over works them (600,000 people die in china every year from being overworked), some commit suicide, they live in small rooms shared by 8-10 people in triple bunk beds, and they are put into prison for 12 years if they organise trade unions.
@timetochilli That supports my point about industry. No one gives a shit if machines are abused. They don't need bunks and they don't form unions. And they don't die, they just break down from time to time.
@KayBeeEee1983 " The unemployed will use their brains to come up with new ways to make money."
Oh you mean like say, drug dealing? Gambling? How about just straight out finding ways to hustle and rip people off?
Nothing the government has tried before either I might add. We could always go over to Columbia and check to see if any 'coca' is left, or any leftover Iran-Contra AKs we swept under the rug.
@phREaker419 "Oh you mean like say, drug dealing? Gambling? How about just straight out finding ways to hustle and rip people off?"
The employed do that stuff as well as the unemployed. If that stuff is all the people know how to do, then the government can catch them and throw them in jail. Natural Selection.
"any leftover Iran-Contra AKs we swept under the rug."
@KayBeeEee1983 "What does Iran-Contra have to do with anything?"
Well who do you think gave the gang members and drug dealers of this country these weapons? Our own CIA. An idea cooked up by some of our most patriotic, or so-say, played up capitalist heroes like Reagan and his admin, 41, etc. An effort to slowly destroy the proletariat with drugs and neighborhood terror complete with psychological sublimation and a wider gap in the U.S. class system, effect=More prisons built, more jailed.
@phREaker419 "Well who do you think gave the gang members and drug dealers of this country these weapons? Our own CIA."
....
Why would the rich elite CIA give weapons to the class of people who would most like to kill them? I can buy the theory that the government gave the urban population crack to "thin the herd" (I'm not saying I actually believe that, but it is relatively believable), but weapons? AK-47's? That's just fucking stupid.
@KayBeeEee1983 Believe it. It's all subliminal and carefully plotted out; the U.S. "government" or which you call it creates the ghettos and reaps in benefits by locking up those they have psychologically conditioned in hundreds of prisons, the U.S. being one of the most prison filled countries in the entire world. In the late 80s to early 90s those AKs you seem to have doubts about were piled in dumpsters, and who put them there? How is it a 10 year old crip can carry a pack of army 7.62x39s?
@phREaker419 "U.S. being one of the most prison filled countries in the entire world."
The USA is the 3rd most populated country on earth. More people means more criminals. That's just common sense.
"U.S....creates the ghettos and reaps in benefits by locking up those they have psychologically conditioned in hundreds of prisons,"
If the government is creating the ghettos to destroy urban civilization, why would they lock up the criminals in prison? They'd do a lot more damage out on the street.
@KayBeeEee1983 Steals it hahahah, steals it... oh sure. More like handed to him for a christmas present. I mean don't get me wrong but, if you're trying to figure out alternative reasons for this, save yourself some time and naivety. It was a capitalist manifesto to create the ghettos and crackheads of the 80s. The effect of it hasn't worn off much yet either.
@phREaker419 "Steals it hahahah, steals it... oh sure. More like handed to him for a christmas present."
Nice rebuttal.
"It was a capitalist manifesto to create the ghettos and crackheads of the 80s."
Are you aware of the fact that at the same time the ghettos were filling with crack, every rich yuppie was snorting coke? Was the CIA trying to thin the herd of elites too? You're paranoid. You probably think the CIA killed Jesus, too, and helped the Hyksos takeover Egypt.
@KayBeeEee1983 Where are you from, man? I mean figure it out, the drugs can pass to anyone and some of those rich yuppies you are talking about were some of the biggest dopers AND dealers! It's a domino effect, the capitalist gov brings in the drugs, to which the yuppie (really a knowledgeable dealer) takes the drugs, which he then delivers the local street dealers OR, the yuppie is outright bypassed and stock of guns and dugs are sold at low bid by the anonymous cia man himself. Wouldn't lie.
@phREaker419 I don't think you responded to my question asking why the elites would put so many black people in prison if they wanted to destroy the proletariat. I don't think the people they were giving AK's to (according to you) were ever really part of the working class anyway.
It makes no sense that the government would give weapons to a class of people whom they are trying to oppress. Total nonsense. Maybe corrupt, rogue CIA agents, but you are implying a government conspiracy.
@KayBeeEee1983 Yes I am. I hate using this term but I shall more accurately say, the lower class. Which happen to be a majority of our fellow black americans even to this day, but also white and latino comrades as well. To do away with what they consider excess baggage in the american lower class/working class man, there is no more need to spend money to take care of them. Again, an inhumane crime. The gov created the downfall of many a proletariat by injecting violent self-destructive culture.
@phREaker419 In fairness, no one forced them to smoke crack.
"To do away with what they consider excess baggage in the american lower class/working class man"
Umm..the bigger the working class is, the less capitalists have to pay their workers. It's the principle of supply and demand. If the supply(labor) goes up, the price(wage) goes down. It is detrimental to the elite to kill off the working class.
@KayBeeEee1983 Yes they would get rid of yuppies especially those yuppies that do not necesarily agree with their full program or that they are not too buddy-buddy with, and what is a good way to do that? Call them communist of course which will ruin their life and reputation. What it comes down to is the preservation of their capitalist ideals and criminal plots for as long as possible. They would like to say forever, but even capitalism can't last forever. They'll realize that pretty soon.
@phREaker419 "Call them communist of course which will ruin their life and reputation."
When the ruling class starts attacking itself, the end is near. Just look at the Roman Republic.
"even capitalism can't last forever"
True capitalism is already dead. We are in the transition phase. We have a social democracy. The Republicans tried to revert back to a more capitalist economy by deregulating banks, and look what happened. Worst recession since the great depression.
@KayBeeEee1983 What we currently have is a bunch of whining crying dummies that should be selling vacuum cleaners for a living instead of shining their asses on washington seats. I don't care what you call it, for the last 30 years it's been a failure. It must be up to the people if and when they unite to takeover business if the country is to be kept alive. It will never be the same as you or those before you remembered it, so you might as well forget that dream now. If Marx were alive now...
@phREaker419 "It will never be the same as you or those before you remembered it, so you might as well forget that dream now."
Of course not, the population is too big. As a population grows, the ability to govern itself falls. That's why Communism will never work on a macro scale, only in the tiniest communities. Economics works the same way. As the market grows, it has to be regulated more. Buying stock on margin worked great for like a century until the market got huge in the 1920's.
History - I see nothing but superficial differences between "Slave Society", "Feudalism", and "Capitalism". They are all ruled by rich oligarchies, they oppress their poor unskilled laborers, and they have a middle class consisting of merchants and skilled laborers.
Future - A stateless, classless society(Communist) will never work because as a population grows, it loses the ability to govern itself.
@KayBeeEee1983 Marx and Engels were at least aware of what could possibly go wrong, but so were those founding fathers of the United States. I firmly believe that there will be an authentic country or countrie(s) as Marx envisioned. I believe that it must happen as a natural, perhaps painful socio-metamorphosis and chances are there will be a violent act of anarchy involved before this all happens. As for the U.S, it may subdivide into smaller countries.
@phREaker419 "I firmly believe that there will be an authentic country or countrie(s) as Marx envisioned."
Well, frankly, you're wrong. A stateless society is utterly impossible. It just creates a power vacuum. And like I said, large populations need to be controlled MORE, not less.
"I believe that it must happen as a natural, perhaps painful socio-metamorphosis and chances are there will be a violent act of anarchy involved before this all happens."
" It just creates a power vacuum. And like I said, large populations need to be controlled MORE, not less."
Ah yes. As in capitalism attempting to 'capitalize' on the needs of those (a large %) that are not as well off as the bourgeoisie. You will give them what they want as long as it will make the rich richer, but one says I want what the bourgeoisie has, one might as well keep on dreaming.
@KayBeeEee1983 Why stop at 1790? We could talk about 3, 4 centuries of U.S existence. Yes a utopia built on the backs of slaves. A utopia still to those of the bourgeoise and their inherited. And don't put words in my mouth, it is NOT my idea of a utopia. It is corruption as bad as the monarchists they broke from.
And you tell your history of social mobility to those working for pennies right now while we live under a gov. of numbskulls who'd rather take money under the table & trickle down.
@KayBeeEee1983 Dare I say are we darwinist animals separating the herd with ideals of weaker and stronger, or are we smart enough, evolved enough, concerned enough, to recognize that every last proletariat is needed to construct a civilization that works with each other and not just for each other in the most humane way possible? You want it all for yourself or do you want to see your fellow man be as successful as you, what is it? We have the opportunity to express a most respectable sociality.
TROLL? Motherfucker I'm no troll, but you got a real attitude problem all the sudden and while I DID believe we were having a rather interesting and favored debate with you where I AT NO TIME INSULTED YOU IN ANY SORT OF MANNER LIKE YOU DID JUST NOW, welI will just end it now. And you can go fuck yourself too bitch! Be glad you're sitting behind you're computer!
@phREaker419 You say you're a marxist, but you think a utopia can exist with slavery. In the Revolutionary War, the primary belligerent was Parliament, not the king. You're going out of your way to use buzz words. You talk about the USA "subdividing". What's a "Darwinist animal"? What's "respectable sociality"? A member of the working class is a proletarian. You think thinning out the proletariat is beneficial to the bourgeoisie. And the cherry on top: you think the CIA gave AK-47s to crackheads
@KayBeeEee1983 I did not say a utopia can exist with slavery you jackass! Go read what I said again or are you dyslexic? How the hell did you get it all twisted around to where I somehow said thinning out the proletariat was a good thing? Fool! I fucking got done telling you it was NOT my idea of a utopia, it is criminal and inhumane and oh so very capitalist! In fact it's what I've said all along. Now you're just pissing me off so quit replying. I'm not having a discussion with you anymore.
@phREaker419 "Why stop at 1790? We could talk about 3, 4 centuries of U.S existence. Yes a utopia built on the backs of slaves. A utopia still to those of the bourgeoise and their inherited"
@KayBeeEee1983 Tell me, would you mind if I ask what you do for a living? And is it considered public sector or private sector? I will then tell you mine. If not, fine.
@KayBeeEee1983 I could also add in the majority of these prisoners being african-american and sometimes think it isn't more than a coincidence, but I am a realist and what better herd of cattle for capitalist greed with a survival of the fit attitude to exploit? And if that sounds harsh oh well. Capitalists brought cocaine into the U.S., rose taxes sky high and kicked the worker to the curb the, just as it's being done now. When western capitalism crumbles I will not shed a tear.
@phREaker419 There are a lot of black criminals because African American culture was born under the worst possible conditions, as slave culture. Of course they're going to be bitter and antisocial. And it was only 40 years ago when they finally received anything even resembling equality. It's like locking your kid in a dungeon for their entire childhood, and then releasing him to the world as an adult. Do you think they would be a normal functioning adult? Not likely.
@KayBeeEee1983 Oh come on, a lot of these guys were picked out more than most others and people know it and never had the chance to see better days. And I'm not saying that's all the problem, it would take me all night and day to break down the criminal actions of the capitalist, I'll just leave it with this. When you strangle the proletariat and kick him over like a dog it is the most inhuman of crimes. The U.S. could and should very easily adopt true marxism into our country.
@phREaker419 "The U.S. could and should very easily adopt true marxism into our country."
I disagree with that. Marx was wrong about history, he was wrong about the future, and he was wrong about human nature. He MIGHT know what he's talking about regarding capitalism and the evolution to socialism, but that's it.
@atkidz The ridiculously rich donate ridiculous amounts of money to charitable foundations. I don't think that would happen if everyone had roughly equal income.
I think the party system we have is pretty good. Democrats and Republicans are both moderate, but Democrats are more leftist and Republicans are more rightist. If you stretch any farther beyond them, that's too extreme, in my opinion. Radicals and Reactionaries are counterproductive to their causes.
be people who want and enjoy telling people wwhat to do if you remove capitalism for socialism lets see do you think the people in charge will live like you no they will live better and you will have less say do you think fidel castro lives like his fellow countrymen wake up no also i work with alot of poeple some lazy some hard working usually the hardworker gets smiled on wich i can agree with in a socialist gov no matter if im a better worker or brighter i get the same as the lazy guy

A tips to you all liberal viewer that hate Communism and wanna crush it.
You mabye should view the world why pepole still loves the communist thoughts, The equal between us humans is still a dream to many that you guys wanna crush. I mean se no problem with it but running a privacy is not problem either. But why crush a good idea that we learn instead of let it die. You talk aboute stalin, Kim jong jin thosse are not leaders that follow the Marxism idelogy.
@uatwmf: Defending freedom iagainst the wrongly posted praises to Marxism by your sick Ilk on a video that neither condemns nor applauds Marxism is not trolling. Frankly had I been in the shoes of the kid that made the video I would have disabled the comments section because it was just a homework he did a while back, nothing less and nothing more...
I am not a Marxist but I like this video. I do sometimes call myself a Communist (Libertarian-Communist actually), but I don't like the word "Marxist". Ironically not because I disagree with Marx but because everyone assumes your a Maoist or a Stalinist. Communism is just an economic system, and a philosophy, not necessarily political.
Since this video neither condemns nor applauds Marxism it is wrong to have a debate about it on the comments section. This was some kid's schoolwork project that's all...
Capitalism is the wage slavery of immense humanity in a politically corrupt, manipulated MARKET SYSTEM OF ARTIFICIAL SCARCITY ,a tyrannical, destructive system to perpetuate poverty and exploitation in the interest of the ruling class. Capitalism from its Genocide of native Americas, mercantile plundering and enslavement of African natives to its Millitaristic rise of European Powers to World wars and Financial serfdom of the world has been a DISASTEROUS minority imposition .
I consider myself something of a marxist, but would anyone care to respond to the accusation that communism causes lethargy in people? i guess there is still a form of incentive in the way of control over your workplace but it's just a question that's kind of bothered me
Wow again to both sides this video neither condemns nor applauds Marxism, he did not into the details of how enabling such a system entails mass murder and genocide more often than not. because he only focused on the theory on paper, it is obvious even to the biggest MORON that in reality it has never worked nor will it ever...
@bannedbyMusloons You have your history entirely backwards. Capitalism is all about mass murder and genocide.
Marx only put theory on paper? He spent his entire life being a member various political parties, and he helped found the first international, the first worldwide organisation for socialists.
And a lot of Marx's theories are based on real life events, such as the Paris Commune -- that was no theory, but an actual historical event. The Commune was the inspiration for socialists.
@MikhailSilverwood: Bahahah! Yeah right tell that to the millions killed by Lenin and Stalin, to the countless more millions killed by Mao in his so called Cultural Revolution. The countless killed in Cambodia. Compare that to the thriving nations that more or less adopted Laisse's Fair. Libertarianism forever...
@bannedbyMusloons You think Stalin was a socialist? I'm sorry, but you are 60 years behind. That myth was debunked by Tony Cliff in the 1950s!!!
Nowadays, thanks to Cliff's work, socialists have been able to break free of the Stalinist muck (and bourgeois anti-communist lies) and been able to begin reclaiming the true Marxist tradition, which is about worker's power. That's why we have the International Socialist Tendency.
@MikhailSilverwood: Bwhaha! You really drank a barrel worth of Koolaid didn't you? Again Lenin was almost as as bad as Stalin was and he was the one that deposed the first stabilshed government after the Zar fell. And what you and all other brain dead collectivists fail to realize is that is not only Russia but everywhere where Marxism has shown it's ugly face it has been the same type of dysmal failure. Albert Einstein had a name for that: Insanity...
@bannedbyMusloons How can you even know a person like Lenin was bad if you didnt even know him? To know a person you cant find a book because that's just a bit of piece of story from memory and not from the person. I dont care if you had read 100 history books aboute Lenin.....You cant still talk crap aboute that person that lived for 112 years ago and thought diffrent between you and me
@Lilycha100: Bwahaha! That has to be the biggest Strawman argument I've ever come across. Facts speak for themselves, is like saying OH wait Hitler was a nice guy he was just misunderstood and you cannnot judge him because he lived and died before you were born" that is nothing but a load of crap and you know it...
@bannedbyMusloons haha your fool you dont consider the problem to the person for what he was instead of what he did.... Idiots like you know nothing aboute reality only imanges what is written down in a book.
Guy needs to explain Scientific Socialism and Utopian Socialism!

Don't forget BBC named Marx the Greatest and most Influential thinker and Philosopher of all time. this was a good chat Bro
isninoismymom 5 months ago
you fucking idiots you don't know shit about Marxism you illiterate typical morons. Marxism is truly scientific socialism which is still a theory and was never practiced. the Marxism that was took place in in the soviet was a theory not a practice, they implemented their own view of Marxism which was Totalitarianism. AND NOT MARXISM, IF U CONSIDER UR SELF A MARXIST THEN U R AN EGALITARIAN HUMAN BEING.
isninoismymom 5 months ago
@isninoismymom Curious, what is an atypical moron? Next, Marxism can indeed be considered "scientific socialism" and as you say, "theory;" therefore it is subject to scientific credulity that shows it is deeply flawed. And finally, your conclusion is false: Stalin (and MANY other dictators) considered himself a Marxist and most definitely was not egalitarian.
kinakem 5 months ago
@kinakem Like every theory there is some flaws just like evolution, but Marxism the way Marx and Engels put it was never meant for the dictatorship of the proletariat. it stood for Democratic egalitarian ideals. Lenin himself propagated that Marx encouraged the whole dictatorship in his book "STATE AND REVOLUTION" and when true Marxists like Rosa Luxemberg started to contradict his flaws he split from the party and created the Bolsheviks. The former Soviet was the total opposite of Marxiasm
isninoismymom 5 months ago
@isninoismymom Actually, you are not entirely correct, but that is ok. We can work from there. Engels was the political force. Marx was an economist. His only true work was Das Kapital. The Manifesto was more of a joint-effort. Oddly, a close analysis gives the impression that not even Marx agreed with all the words but was forced to comply by some form of peer-pressure. Proper Marxism is an economic theory. So we can discuss that aspect without having to go into the politics e.g. Soviets.
kinakem 5 months ago
@kinakem True Marx was an economic genius and is his three works of Das Capitalis the most recognized of his work in which he greatly criticizes the inefficiencies of capitalism and its means of production, coming back to the whole dictatorship Grachus Babuef a captain of the Jacobin during the French Revolution was the one who encouraged the dictatorship of the masses by a few, and Lenin himself idolized the guy. FYI Communism was meant to take place in an industrialized nation like Germany.
isninoismymom 5 months ago
@isninoismymom Yes I am aware. But that is exactly what is limiting of Marx. His attitudes are too provincial and specific to his era. He can hardly be blamed because he is a disciple of Hegel except where Hegel used "spirit" as driving force, Marx uses "materialism" or economics. This is where I think many of the mistakes lay with Marxism. It is effectively "too scientific." He had a poor understanding of human nature. On theoretical grounds, Marxism is defective.
kinakem 5 months ago
@kinakem remember he split from the Hegelian thought and said that Hegel was being too apologetic to the bourgeoises. I do know what you are talking about concerning Hegel and his thought on man's desire to be recognized. but know this Hegel was some what of a dialectic insofar as Chaos giving rise to society and civilization. but Marx chose economics because he simplified where Hegel, Hobbes, Locke, and Kant complicated it all comes down to this Money because people strive for financial gain
isninoismymom 5 months ago
@isninoismymom Now this doesnt mean that he was entirely wrong in his theories. I mean there are a few things I agree with but it is with his main thesis and analysis of economics and how society should evolve that I disagree. BTW - I thank you for this exchange. It seems civil and educated so far; a relief from another video post commentary I have been involved in where some guy decided he was the Chosen One and all kinds of nonsense ensued. It was a "creationists vs science" post.

Lenin and Stalin wanted to ban all religion, not approve of one over another, although one could argue their form of Communism was quasi-religious in nature.
sedatedcoho 7 months ago
Hebrew was favored as the National language of Russia in 1917 among the Jewish Bolsheviks.
One of the 1st Laws Russia passed was an Anti Semitism law, punishment was death.
It was Jews that ran Russia.
The only Jews oppressed in Russia were those that Lenin (Jew) and Stalin (Crypto Jew) thought to be a threat to their power.
Most Jews are atheists.

Hitler on Marxism :
"Only in the mind of a monster - and not that of a man - could such a plan take shape".
Hitler was right; Marxism, despite its overtures to the working class, is really a Jewish ruse to debase superior races whom belong to superior nations.
CnutRexAnglorum 8 months ago
@CnutRexAnglorum Hang on, from what i can tell, Marxism is about giving the power to the working class. Hitler was for ethnic purification. The jews were only viewed like that by the nazi's because they held onto their money, and were seen as a threat to society because of that. There was no "ruse to debase" as you so put it...
shamalot44 8 months ago

@CnutRexAnglorum Are you referring to Marxism? Marxism as a political system has never existed. Stalin created his own form of Communism that wasn't really communism at all, and it definitely wasn't socialism. Also, views and political views don't kill people, people kill people. It does not say once in the COMMUNIST Manifesto that we should kill each other. And lets count how many people have died under capitalism :) probably more than you or I can count.
iownage4youi 8 months ago

4500jas 9 months ago
Fairly accurate man. At the end I would have made the point that "revolution" doesn't necessarily mean violence or anything of that nature. Marx never said how communism would happen or what it would be like, just that it happens naturally when the conditions are right.
ourben 9 months ago
It usually becomes repressive and antidemocratic. Many Marxists at the time disagreed strongly with Lenin and they believed that the people must liberate themselves, but that the communists (Marxists) should educate the people on how to do create a socialist state. Marx believed that workers should make up the democratic government, not revolutionaries.
4500jas 9 months ago
If you study Marxism you find a grand truth. Marxism has never happened, there has never been a Marxist revolution anywhere. In a Marxist revolution there is full democracy and no oppression. Marx said that politicians must be chose by the people and must fully represent them. If not the people must impeach that politician. Marxism-Leninism is Lenin's version. He advocates that a vanguard party should be established and that the communists must lead and rule the people
4500jas 9 months ago
@4500jas Exactly! It clicked for me before I'd actually studied Marx - which felt kind of awesome. The most stable societies in history, and presently, are tribal communists. Their off putting primitivism is purely circumstantial because they live in small places. What matters is the key difference between us and them: private property => capital => class. Legal systems are the last vestige of private property capitalism. If we change that and we'll change the world forever.
ourben 9 months ago
I get a lot of complaints saying that this couldn't work and that you can't have an utopia. Well, duh, of course there will be problems, but that hasn't stopped progress so far. If greed is removed, a cap on the rich as you said and environmental consideration occur, we have a system that works. Its not flawless just like any other system but its fair and by far the best.

@danbusinessman
Only a minority benefit from capitalism.
kingmafi6699 11 months ago
@kingmafi6699 Goodpoint. When it comes down to it in my opinion you dont really have to worry about capitalism interfering or effecting your life if you were to live a sustainable lifestyle. So growing your own food, raising chickens, installing a wind turbine, working hard, and simply living the old fashioned way.Now the irony here is it will take capitalism to acheive all this. All this technology is temporary.I hate to be pessimistic but events in the future will bring us back to the stone age
danbusinessman 11 months ago
@danbusinessman
I disagree.

@kingmafi6699 "If there is no need for workers at the assembly line then there is no need for capital"
Could you expand on that? Human workers or mechanized workers, the people in charge will still be trying to make a profit.
KayBeeEee1983 10 months ago
@danbusinessman Were there wind turbines in the stone age?
"All this technology is temporary.I hate to be pessimistic but events in the future will bring us back to the stone age"
What's your reasoning behind that theory? The stone age was the stone age because no one knew how to smelt ore or how to write. No one had ever done it. All the technology was trial and error. We know how to do that stuff now, so unless all the smart people die along with technology, we'll get back on our feet
KayBeeEee1983 11 months ago
@KayBeeEee1983 What if (bare with me here) the stone age was a result of lost technologies and near human extinction? Just a theory however can anyone really disprove it? So my reasoning behind this theory is unforseen events such as solar flares, famine, plagues, natural disasters, nuclear war are never really out of the question and its in our best interest to prepare for the worst
danbusinessman 11 months ago
@danbusinessman Dude, that was a real, legitimate fear that many people had during the 40+ years of the Cold War. Of course it could happen. You should've said "I THINK events in the future will bring us back to the stone age". I thought you had something specific in mind.

@kingmafi6699 "the continous reinvention of industry will continue keep more and more people unemployed."
He was totally wrong. The unemployed will use their brains to come up with new ways to make money. The result is called "progress". Without industry, those brains would go to waste on an assembly line.
KayBeeEee1983 11 months ago
@KayBeeEee1983
No he was not wrong.

KayBeeEee1983 11 months ago
@KayBeeEee1983 industry has been moved to cheaper countries for e.g. ur ipod is made by a company who pays its worker 31 cents a hour, verbally and physically abuses them if they talk or go for a break over works them (600,000 people die in china every year from being overworked), some commit suicide, they live in small rooms shared by 8-10 people in triple bunk beds, and they are put into prison for 12 years if they organise trade unions.
timetochilli 10 months ago
@timetochilli That supports my point about industry. No one gives a shit if machines are abused. They don't need bunks and they don't form unions. And they don't die, they just break down from time to time.

The employed do that stuff as well as the unemployed. If that stuff is all the people know how to do, then the government can catch them and throw them in jail. Natural Selection.
"any leftover Iran-Contra AKs we swept under the rug."
What does Iran-Contra have to do with anything?
KayBeeEee1983 10 months ago
@KayBeeEee1983 "What does Iran-Contra have to do with anything?"
Well who do you think gave the gang members and drug dealers of this country these weapons? Our own CIA. An idea cooked up by some of our most patriotic, or so-say, played up capitalist heroes like Reagan and his admin, 41, etc. An effort to slowly destroy the proletariat with drugs and neighborhood terror complete with psychological sublimation and a wider gap in the U.S. class system, effect=More prisons built, more jailed.
phREaker419 10 months ago
@phREaker419 "Well who do you think gave the gang members and drug dealers of this country these weapons? Our own CIA."
....
Why would the rich elite CIA give weapons to the class of people who would most like to kill them? I can buy the theory that the government gave the urban population crack to "thin the herd" (I'm not saying I actually believe that, but it is relatively believable), but weapons? AK-47's? That's just fucking stupid.
KayBeeEee1983 10 months ago
@KayBeeEee1983 Believe it. It's all subliminal and carefully plotted out; the U.S. "government" or which you call it creates the ghettos and reaps in benefits by locking up those they have psychologically conditioned in hundreds of prisons, the U.S. being one of the most prison filled countries in the entire world. In the late 80s to early 90s those AKs you seem to have doubts about were piled in dumpsters, and who put them there? How is it a 10 year old crip can carry a pack of army 7.62x39s?
phREaker419 10 months ago
@phREaker419 "U.S. being one of the most prison filled countries in the entire world."
The USA is the 3rd most populated country on earth. More people means more criminals. That's just common sense.
"U.S....creates the ghettos and reaps in benefits by locking up those they have psychologically conditioned in hundreds of prisons,"
If the government is creating the ghettos to destroy urban civilization, why would they lock up the criminals in prison? They'd do a lot more damage out on the street.
KayBeeEee1983 10 months ago
@phREaker419 "How is it a 10 year old crip can carry a pack of army 7.62x39s?"

I mean don't get me wrong but, if you're trying to figure out alternative reasons for this, save yourself some time and naivety. It was a capitalist manifesto to create the ghettos and crackheads of the 80s. The effect of it hasn't worn off much yet either.

KayBeeEee1983 10 months ago
@KayBeeEee1983 Where are you from, man? I mean figure it out, the drugs can pass to anyone and some of those rich yuppies you are talking about were some of the biggest dopers AND dealers! It's a domino effect, the capitalist gov brings in the drugs, to which the yuppie (really a knowledgeable dealer) takes the drugs, which he then delivers the local street dealers OR, the yuppie is outright bypassed and stock of guns and dugs are sold at low bid by the anonymous cia man himself. Wouldn't lie.
phREaker419 10 months ago
@phREaker419 I don't think you responded to my question asking why the elites would put so many black people in prison if they wanted to destroy the proletariat. I don't think the people they were giving AK's to (according to you) were ever really part of the working class anyway.
It makes no sense that the government would give weapons to a class of people whom they are trying to oppress. Total nonsense. Maybe corrupt, rogue CIA agents, but you are implying a government conspiracy.
KayBeeEee1983 10 months ago

KayBeeEee1983 10 months ago
@KayBeeEee1983 Yes they would get rid of yuppies especially those yuppies that do not necesarily agree with their full program or that they are not too buddy-buddy with, and what is a good way to do that? Call them communist of course which will ruin their life and reputation. What it comes down to is the preservation of their capitalist ideals and criminal plots for as long as possible. They would like to say forever, but even capitalism can't last forever. They'll realize that pretty soon.
phREaker419 10 months ago
@phREaker419 "Call them communist of course which will ruin their life and reputation."
When the ruling class starts attacking itself, the end is near. Just look at the Roman Republic.
"even capitalism can't last forever"
True capitalism is already dead. We are in the transition phase. We have a social democracy. The Republicans tried to revert back to a more capitalist economy by deregulating banks, and look what happened. Worst recession since the great depression.

It will never be the same as you or those before you remembered it, so you might as well forget that dream now. If Marx were alive now...
phREaker419 10 months ago
@phREaker419 "It will never be the same as you or those before you remembered it, so you might as well forget that dream now."
Of course not, the population is too big. As a population grows, the ability to govern itself falls. That's why Communism will never work on a macro scale, only in the tiniest communities. Economics works the same way. As the market grows, it has to be regulated more. Buying stock on margin worked great for like a century until the market got huge in the 1920's.
KayBeeEee1983 10 months ago
@phREaker419 To clarify my Marxism criticism:
History - I see nothing but superficial differences between "Slave Society", "Feudalism", and "Capitalism". They are all ruled by rich oligarchies, they oppress their poor unskilled laborers, and they have a middle class consisting of merchants and skilled laborers.
Future - A stateless, classless society(Communist) will never work because as a population grows, it loses the ability to govern itself.
Human Nature - Marx was unaware of psychopathy.

As for the U.S, it may subdivide into smaller countries.
phREaker419 10 months ago
@phREaker419 "I firmly believe that there will be an authentic country or countrie(s) as Marx envisioned."
Well, frankly, you're wrong. A stateless society is utterly impossible. It just creates a power vacuum. And like I said, large populations need to be controlled MORE, not less.

Ah yes. As in capitalism attempting to 'capitalize' on the needs of those (a large %) that are not as well off as the bourgeoisie. You will give them what they want as long as it will make the rich richer, but one says I want what the bourgeoisie has, one might as well keep on dreaming.

KayBeeEee1983 10 months ago
@KayBeeEee1983 Why stop at 1790? We could talk about 3, 4 centuries of U.S existence. Yes a utopia built on the backs of slaves. A utopia still to those of the bourgeoise and their inherited. @KayBeeEee1983 I could also add in the majority of these prisoners being african-american and sometimes think it isn't more than a coincidence, but I am a realist and what better herd of cattle for capitalist greed with a survival of the fit attitude to exploit? And if that sounds harsh oh well. Capitalists brought cocaine into the U.S., rose taxes sky high and kicked the worker to the curb the, just as it's being done now. When western capitalism crumbles I will not shed a tear.
phREaker419 10 months ago
@phREaker419 There are a lot of black criminals because African American culture was born under the worst possible conditions, as slave culture. Of course they're going to be bitter and antisocial. And it was only 40 years ago when they finally received anything even resembling equality. It's like locking your kid in a dungeon for their entire childhood, and then releasing him to the world as an adult. Do you think they would be a normal functioning adult? Not likely.
