Well I`m a water polo player but IM NOT GOOD that`s what happend my waterpolo coach is really hard and I dont get better . If you could give an advice would be nice- I`m part of Guatemala`s waterpolo team
the "skulling" should happen naturaly in the freestyle stroke. The water genneraly forces the hands out and to correct the swimmer must force the hand "back on track" to finnish the stroke by the hips (it takes strength). Useing a "skulling" motion on direct purpose in the free style stroke is counter productive because it loses the water being "pulled" by lateral movement.
I am training water polo and i'm doing well. I am fast swimmer without this, but with this i am the best. From my coach i haven't heart about this, but i don't care i know this and i am faster then ever. Thanks for the video. :)
I am planning on trying out for water polo for the first time early next year and its nice to know how I should be swimming and being able to practice this technique. Great explanation as stated by prepgirlNessa2
Very nicely explained! My water polo coach is also a swim coach so I've heard a lot of this, but it's a great reminder, swimming quickly and effectively without wearing yourself out too much is very important during water polo.
this guy's a dippy. 90% of waterpolo players are swimmers
