Let me drop a little bit of truth here. Feral hogs, wild boars, are an INVASIVE SPECIES. They don't belong here. They were brought to the Americas by unthinking and uncaring Europeans along with Smallpox, Measles and Bubonic Plague. Every year wild hogs wreak havoc on our native flora and fauna and repopulate faster than most native species, causing untold economic damages to our farmers and landowners. Reserve your energy for learning instead of criticism if that's all you've got.
@ridah925 what are you talking about, hogs are invasive and potentially dangerous. They destroy millions of dollars of crops every year, are hostile towards any species but their own and hunting them is perfectly legal.
Nice! I use the same set up with a fulton upper and a can. Many times the hogs don't know where the sound is coming from and they'll run right at ya. Lots of fun. Keep whackin them! Were covered up in Texas.
@GABigBoar Have you had any problems w/ using thin-filmed scopes (pinnacle) on .308s? MCP damage, spots, etc? I've got a D740 3rd Gen Pinnacle on my 6.8 and am thinking about putting it on a Keltec RFB one day.
@TheIichiban Silencers don't keep you from spooking the animals. 6.8, .223, .308, etc will spook them even w/ a can on your rifle. That being said, it does make the experience more pleasant for the shooter. Less recoil, virtually no muzzle flash, less muzzle climb, you can go without ear muffs, you don't disturb the neighbors etc.
Problem is: GA doesn't let you hunt with silencers.
Yeah, 6 out of what? Like 40? Oh well, better then none at all I suppose. They should just put a bounty on them. 3 or $4 a head. That'd help thin out the heard.

11 shots, 6 kills
that's actually not that bad for moving targets and hunting at night
plus why do you care how much they miss, they could be using full auto AR-15s and it would still be a bad ass killing

I think you could drop more if you used silencers. Is this for eradication?
