my computer has a TR/crypt.xpack.Gen

its impossible to get rid of.....tried basically anything

I used AVIRA anti virus and it FINALLY found this crazy virus I have on my pc named

749433006:1368347859.exe

when it found it it was in WINDOWS/

even tho it said it quarantined and deleted it, its still on my pc!

it says its like an xpack/gen.

how the hell do I get rid of it

Question, what happens if the computer won't boot into Safe Mode? As in it freezes whenever it tries loading the Drivers and Files for boot? Also, what if no matter what you do to BIOS, it won't boot off of any LiveCD or USB? I haven't tried a Floppy, but I don't think the computer even has a Floppy Drive either, and even if it did, I don't know where I can get a Floppy Disk. A relative somehow got a Virus on their computer that messed up their PC that bad, I can't do anything with it.

The only problem with a-squared is that it has a HUGE false positive rate.

One video of an infected PC and the a-squared program attempting to clean it quarantined explorer.exe - no taskbar = no PC access. That's why something like Dr. Web CureIT! is such a great combo with a-squared.

awsome vid nice back ground. iv been very lazy with anti virus in fact iv not had one for about a year. got a very anoying virus 2 days ago. it stoped me from opening CMD n taskmanger and many other usefull tools. ill make a post in the forum as instrusted i think iv solved it but im not sure.
