I've met people who insist in calling me 'Karmoon' in reality despite me telling me my real name.

I prefer reality, but I accept that having a handle on the net is actually normal and most people live an element of duality in a mature way.

It's really odd because you can't really translate that out of japanese culture all that well, but in japan they use last names moreso, with an honorific. Even husband and wife sometimes call eachother by their last names. But using first names, especially without an honorific is a symbol of familiarity
