@MsMariah61 You are welcome! and yes, growing up in the 80's was great. Kids today may disagree due to the lack of "Internet" and 3-D video games. ;) We had "Rainbow". We made our own magic.

ok there used to be an introduction with colorful balloons on A LOT of kid videos from 80's & 90's. my brother and i used to think it was hysterical, and i'm 90% sure this video had that intro. i have been looking for it FOR YEARS.

i know i sound like a weirdo, but i just have the urge to see it haha!

@xheathermichelle With the exception of the "kid's stuff" see and read videos, the Rainbow Brite videos were released by "Children's Video Library". They had the balloon logo and released other popular videos such as My Little Pony, Benji, and many others. I will attach a link to a copy of the promo above for you to see.

I can tell you why Bettina isn't the one singing.

The production company who made the "Live Action" videos are not the same as those who worked on the Animated videos and records, so they didn't know Bettina could sing! It wasn't until later that they did, but the videos were already released.

The singer of both videos (The Zoo Special and this one) is currently Unknown.
