Hey camaross2236 it shouldn't take that long. Cut,polish,buffing and waxing are all different things. Next time you have sap on your car heres a tip use hand sanitizer. Put some on directly and let it sit for a min to soften and then add some more and work it in the sap with a microfiber towel. should only take a few mins compared to hours. Then clay and hand wax and you'll be more happier!!

I hand wax/detail my cars. Its safer. And hand buff tree sap infested cars. It takes 15 hours to hand buff tree sap completely but its rewarding!

how do you hand buff tree sap? thats crazy dude, prep sol or laquer thinner works in seconds. or you can even buy tree sap remover which its almost the same thing
