I am very disapointed about what happened. That earthquake was not strong enough. Should have had more aftershocks. Now Im counting on the floods to do more destruction. It's interesting (and sad) that with all the earthquake casualties in China, one still finds pro-China and anti-China people bickering away rather than giving donations and condolences to the victims.

That much said, I've read that more than 7,000 school buildings collapsed in China due to the quake, whereas the government buildings remained largely intact. Seems that the Chinese just didn't care much about their children at school.

China still has a long way to go.

I find it hilarious that people think that earthquakes are completely predictable. Yes, it may happen regularly, but life cannot stop just because an earthquake is on the horizon.
