@TurtleRez2 yes this video is old and i recently got him so i didn't want it too deep. He now has a 55 gallon tank and two goldfish living with him now :)
You are welcome you may wanna get some tongs and put the cricket infront of his face so the cricket cant get out and you will have a loose one around the house...And it is a good way to not clog your filter
Oh nice glad that you got a uvb bulb which is important to part of there set-up well they have pin head crickets that are really tiny that you can try that is what I bought Banana when he was little
Oh nice fish always bring more life to the tank! I thought you had a basking bulb or did you get a uvb bulb? As well as pellets stable of food try some mealworms/waxworms they like that as well...Have you thought about a turtle yet
i did get a uvb bulb but i did not set it up once i got it but i did after the video.i didn't get the worms right away cuz he is just starting to eat so i am going to get some worms once i go to the petstore.i was going to buy some crickets but i did not cuz he is so small and he wouldn't be able to fit it in his mouth but once i get the worms i will get the crickets
I do have a siphon they have video's up on YOUTUBE about how to use it I never got the hang of it i'll send you a message and tell you how I use it...Nice look towards seeing the vid
yes i did go to the pet store and got a siphon which i have no idea how to use it so can you make a vid showing how to use it and hopefully i will be able to make a vid of twisters new setup
I would'nt say there whole lives they can live in a 30g long tank if you had one turtle that would be fine all though when you look at a 40g tank they do look hugh...lol...Banana is 5 months old they can live in the 30g atleast for another few yrs dont dont grow fast so you can house them in the 30g for awhile and by then maybe you can save up for a bigger tank so there is going to be no rush on getting a big tank anytime soon
thanks but tonight or tommorrow i will make a new video cuz i got some stuff for my tank.the sand i got glows in the dark and it is digestible and if they eat it it is good for them cuz it has calcium so thats why i got this certain sand
but can a texas map turtle and twister live in a 30 gal for their whole life .if not what other turtle can.also how long did it take for banana to grow to his size now
Thank you I am close with my family and I know they would enjoy the turtles and after all if it wasnt for my uncle getting me the turtles I would not even have them...when I save up money I want to maybe get another hypo or transulcent red ear slider..you gonna get anymore?

Oh nice!! They do have other ones that can float and Twister might take interest and eat some which is good of an aqautic turtles diet banana lover plants I have vids up of him eating them they usually last a day or two...lol
i saw your videos of banana eating the plants and he is so cute. your lucky to have a turtle like banana.Also can you make a new video of peanut butter and jelly. if you get another turtle name him sandwhich so it would be peanut butter jelly sandwhich
Twister is cute! If the water flow is to loud for you at night what I do is get a plastic plant made for reptiles with the suction cup on it and suction it near the filter and let the water run down the plant...Also to if you can get some live plants that could float or just let some pieces float around they like to hide in there and make then feel more secure since at that age they like to do so when I got banana he was always in the plants till he got bigger nice set-up
You can add a little more water if you want... he can swim very will,i believe in him :P

Those are both nice tutles I think tow turtles could live awhile in a 30g long tank and that wasy twister and the new one can grow together
