  • Weathering the storm through turbulent years in regional news, kids TV, four changes in ITV franchise, the move from B&W to colour, mono to Nicam and analogue to Digital.

    Often he has been the only reason to watch ITV during its TVS/Meridian franchise years. HOW worthy is Fred of his MBE? Totally worthy.
