  • God I remember watching NTNoN when it was on TV - I loved it - and it still makes me laugh today. Ty for the upload.

  • Agonisingly accurate portrayal of the two-faced British liberal elite. Brilliant!

  • @38dragoon38 Conservative elite, not liberal. Liberals are people who are pro-fairness.

  • @atmhso

    Conservative elite ?????

How would you know, this was 10 years before you were born !

  • @FlingerOfFlans so someone cant study history and gain significant knowledge about any given topic?

  • @38dragoon38

You mean conservative elite buddy - you're confused about life aren't you..

  • those were the days... no one was so sensitive about good jokes. the world is a puff today

  • Most sketches from this show now look very dated, but this one is still amusing.

  • bad quality but funny

  • Hahahaha gods like that, he hates puffs,,,, but the good lords book loves incest

  • Lovely video! Unfortunately real life is much harder

  • I hope this was just for laughs. Cause god( if your real in the next 20 seconds I want a ferrari )

Nope no Ferrari you aint real. Anyway if god is/was real he wouldn't hate anyone.

  • @freshnup101 "Anyway if god is/was real he wouldn't hate anyone."

How do you know? The idea of a hateful god is hardly an alien concept to theology. If a god can love it stands to reason a god can hate.

Personally, I believe if there is a god, it would be so unknowable to us that attributing any human emotions to such a being would be both arrogant and absurd.

  • @Fangtorn I never stated I knew I'm just stating what I think. The same goes for you man. If he hated wouldn't and shouldn't he only hate those who break the law? Hating someone for their choice of life I highly doubt would be on God's " to hate list like you suggested".

No need to keep arguing, I like your point of view to be honest.

  • But aren't all Christian Men gay? They all love ane worship a semi nude man,who hung out with 12 other guys.

  • I wonder how many North Americans here have never heard a gay get called a "poof" or "poofta" before. (Not "puff" like LaceloveLuck wrote).

  • I used to be sensitive too much when he made joke about my country, but now I think it is just a joke and I laugh at it so hard. In this real world, if you cannot tolerate this small detail, you cannot overcome the cruelty of the society and succeed. This world is for the freedom of speech. The only thing I need is just forget it, and everything is ok.

  • "With a member of .. uh... the same... gentail groupe!" LOL

  • this made me laugh so hard i damn near choked on my popcorn... ahh.. what way to die

  • I'm straight

  • Lol faggots (yes see the bloody meaning of the word faggots) are clearly not tolerated in the bible nor the quaran... It is funny to think that some of these faggots (yes they are the most messed up people in the world), seem to thBVink that these "gods" actually want people to be homosexual... Very funny because it is true..

  • genital hoop. id like one.

  • @tommos1 genital group mate :)

  • This is unrealistic. The church has much less backbone on this issue than the man in this video...

  • same genital group xD

  • Shame on you Mr. Bean.

  • "Come OUT... of the toilet, as the phrase has it."

    xD

  • I'm not claiming at all that I think this this show was homophobic, but I wonder anyways how much of the priest's attitudes were satirical and how much really did reflect the writer's attitudes.

  • @bobbobato The writer's attitude is clearly against the church not homosexuals.

  • @bobokk I agree, I think this is an example of skeweringly sharp satire and I think the writers of the sketch supported gays and had no sympathy for the church. I think here, they are simply parodying by exaggeration the misinformed and narrow-minded attitudes of the church and its representatives on this subject.

  • @bobbobato I think the sketch is a bit more subtle than that. Rowan Atkinson's character is rather sadly describing his own repressed feelings. That's why he looks so crestfallen at the end. It seems to me extremely sympathetic to everyone, except perhaps to an institution that requires grown men to repress their own sexual identities (straight or gay) for reasons that have eluded most people these past 2,000 years.

  • @digitaurus Your right, there is no way a nigger loving, homosexual, commie faggot like you or me could ever believe that someone like him could actually believe what he says!!! No, it can't just mean what it says, it needs some marxist new art bullcrap meaning to it! And go femminism!

  • @iamjacobnz This is British comedy. It never means what it says.

  • Poor Clive Barker...

  • ladies born male can play oral fun with me all day and some night hours, you got a problem with me heteros then leave my west alone and go live in israel and fight the muslim invaders ; )

  • " hates puffs" LOL!!

  • @LaceloveLuck poofs :P not puffs haah but it was funny

  • @LaceloveLuck Poofs.

  • @StuartMB68 I don't get it, sorry... I've heard of Edwina Currie, and I Wikipedia'd her, but I still don't get the joke, not familiar enough with Brit culture...

  • @KrisBlueNZ sorry dude to confuse you- apologoies! Basically when the former PM John Major was a cabinet minister he and Edina Curry were having an affair. Hence the joke about John Major saying 'I like curry' ...

    Sorry !!!

  • @KrisBlueNZ Edwina Currie was a Junior Minister Of Health in 1980s, with whom John Major had an extramarital affair when he was also a Junior Minister. The affair was revealed at a time when Major was running a 'Back-to-Basics/Family Values' campaign.

  • @StuartMB68 Ahh, I get it. I would've LOLed if I'd known the back-story :-) But REALLY? She looks repulsive! But I guess that didn't affect Camilla Parker Bowles's chances with Charlie either!

  • @PleasanTrucker I don't know about that... The video is obviously a parody of the outrageous attitudes of some christians to homosexuality, and even back in 1980 those attitudes were offensive to a lot of people, which is what makes the parody so funny, I think.

Rowan Atkinson also did a parody of a conservative politician at NTNON. He talks about immigrants, and says "now, I like CURRY, I do. But now that we've GOT the recipe... is there REALLY any need for them to stay?" Same idea, parody.

  • @KrisBlueNZ i don't want a lady to have sexy fun with me !

    males are extremely ugly !

i want sexy fun with people who are not male.

do you have the answer for me ?

  • @PleasanTrucker this sketch is making fun of prejudiced people like you and you don't even realise it, that's just great

  • @PleasanTrucker Yes, the old days, when you could prejudge and hate people for no real reason at all. The old days, when the color of your skin and your sexual orientation determined your worth as a person. I miss them too. Like I miss having a root canal.
