  • Amazing.

  • how did you get it into the pot sp perfectly?

  • CAN I HAVE YOUR BABIES???? DAYUM U SO FOINE..

  • i nearly cried when he dug out that chunk from the mac :(

  • As a woman of color.. I'm black, my chin area is very dull. Not dark but just gray. And when I put concealer over it it looks so ashy.. like a dead person. I will try this next time

  • What if all you have is a shiny pink lipstick????

  • youre a genius xx

  • Tried this today, it works!!! Love you! i'm a black girl :)

  • @mimsnkinks what type of lip color did you try it with? I'm black too and idk what to use!

  • @pajamagirl123 i noticed the lip tars kinda looked like thick lipgloss to me. I used an orangey lipgloss from sleek. The ones in a tube

  • @pajamagirl123 p.s i'm in the uk

  • @mimsnkinks hmm...they kinda look like the covergirl squeeze lip gloss. I guess I'll see if I can get an orange one to try this with. Thanks!

  • HI! which shade of bobbi brown corrector is the best for NW20/NW25 ?? pls kindly advice. i want to avoid selection wrong colour, because they are quite expensive.

Thx for the advice. Greetings from Poland.

  • are you american or english and you are anamazing makeup artist

  • @grantreed1423 He's in the UK. :)

  • if your lipstick has shimmer in it, will it show up? please reply! :) xx

  • Please could you do a video on skin tone/colour and make up colours appropriate for that? :D

  • where dou get the stanless steel palatte and the stainless steelspatula?

  • I love your make up heree did you make a tutorial for this?? :)

  • I'm so scared to try this because I'm like ghostly white... Honest to God I'm so pale I truly have a hard time finding foundations that are light enough...I feel like if I did this with my under eyes I'd end up looking like an orange or pinkeyed raccoon! :(

  • @MsBubblegumkitty hmm, people I know aren't that pale naturally, but you can try buying some mehron clown white or white foundation (brands like illamasqua and mac carry those, I believe) and mixing it into your foundation sparingly.

This will lighten the foundation if it's too dark for you, without thinning out the formula, which would happen if you mixed in a moisturizer.

Frankly, I think the white foundation is better, since clown white is a face paint...

  • JUST A HEADS UP, OCC SAYS NOT TO USE LIP TAR NEAR THE EYE AREA. GREAT VID THO =D

  • @ctsittin However they themselves use it in the eye are for catwalks, photoshoots etc. People can react to it as with everything, just give it a go and try.

  • Absolutely amazing! I have a corrector that has been discontinued and now i can make a replica!! You are the next Kevin Aucoin!!!!!

  • U sir are a genius!!!

  • omg it makes such a difference...I've tried it right now with an orange lipstick...can't believe that before i was using a concealer 2 shades lighter than my foundation all over the under-eye area ugh! This man is a genius!!

  • Will using this technique stop the concealer from photographing yellow?

  • I do not know my number from MAC because I've never tried it, but I do know I'm 200 Nude from Revlon Colorstay, and that's rather light. So, should I mix a pink or orange lipstick with my concealer??? I only want to know because my dark eye circles are annoying and I agree with Wayne when he says there is ashiness around that area.

  • I would definitely try that!

  • What do you do if you have more of a neutral coloring than leaning toward one or the other?

Would you use a nude colored (for whatever is nude in comparison to) your skintone lipstick?

  • A concealer and a corrector its the same?

  • You put it on the microwave? I don't understand :S

  • this vid is by far one of my favorites

  • for what skin tones should you make it more pink or more orange? also won't something like a lipstick clog pores? is it safe for sensitive skin?

  • It's been a bit since I've watched a video and missed your great advice. Really, thanks for this tip! I may reuse old concealer and make them correctors, as I really need a pink cheek corrector (is this common with age, getting pink cheeks?)

  • Love it!

  • Ok. it's Necessary to learn English :|

  • Just subscribed & wanna thank u for this great video. I have searched the entire island for pink or orange corrector. Whenever I ask if they carry it, I get a weird look. I think this is the most useful bid ever. Mahalo

  • What an awesome trick for not only saving money, but for lipsticks that are barely used. I just subbed and I am very impressed!

  • Hi Wayne, can I use a liquid blush instead? Thank you.

  • Great video thanks. So if I'm Hispanic I always buy medium shades is it best for me to use the red/orange or pink shades lipstick to add for concealer?

  • loveeeeee

  • What surprised me the most of this video is that this guy has a married ring~

  • i wanted to see the end result on someone's eyes ..very useful though ..thnx !

  • i love your eyebrows..

  • You are GENIUS Wayne

  • finally my MAC morange has another purpose!

  • Q WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY

    FACIL Y MUY NEBEFICO,GRACIAS !!!

VOY HA PROBAR LAS DOS COLORES

    NARANJA SI ROSA ;)))BESOTOSSSSSS

  • Thanks for all the great advice I love your videos they are very informative

  • oh ok thanks @pshtmuah unfortunatley for me i dont have one :/

  • How the hell do you get it so smooth in a pot?

  • @berry123xx microwave, he mentioned it on the video as well

  • Awesome!

  • could you pleeeaseee explain how do we find our number of skin colour??

  • @dimitrisia17 Agtree with you. How does the Mac system work, seems to have become a universal norm to discribe your skin note and the related foundation colour. I have looked at Youtube videos to understand the system, but it is still not clear to me. Thanks in advance, Wayne.

  • Hey do u have any give aways ?

  • @megster617 He has one every month, so he has one going on right now. There's a video about it, just look for it in his channel.

  • This video has probably just saved me £15 or more :) Thank you! <3

  • you are such a beautiful man....oh my god

  • I use MAC NC45 concealer and while it works, hate the deer in headlights look. What is your recommendation to create correctors for AA skin tones. And can these correctors be used to hide blemishes?

  • I die when you wink at me.

  • Very informative as usual. However when you start mentioning the skin color like NC35 you lost me. I have no idea which number matches my skin. What I do know however is that a salmon or peachy colored concealer will make me look ashy. I've tried the pink master corrector from Giorgio Armani and it does not look good on me. I've been to several makeup stores as well, but the problem is that everyone there has white skin and know nothing about ethnic skin.

  • @ChrisMyHaus depends on how light or dark your skin is. When they reference nc/nw it refers to Mac Cosmetic colors. The color corrector you would use depends on your skin tone and issues. For darker skin deep orange, or deep peach is good I use Ben Nye orange, makeup forever orange, or Bobbi Brown deep bisque. If fair or medium you might use pink, purple, or green shades.

  • I'm pretty new to makeup, so can someone please tell me what nc11 and nw10 mean, (those are just examples) but i don't understand the reference... haha thank you.

  • @Excelsiorsnipes The colors of Mac Cosmetic Foundation.

  • already try!! lovee it~~

    review in my blog:

    ^^

  • Can we use lip gloss instead?? Answer please <3

  • @Headrush54 I'm not sure lipgloss would work as there wouldn't be as much pigment/colour in a gloss as there would be in a lipstick or liptar, plus I would imagine the gloss would make the corrector greasy. I could be wrong but just replying with why I think it wouldm't work!! Hope this helps. :)

  • wayne why did to pop in into the microwave ? pls reply

  • @mia2808ful probably to melt it down for its own container

  • Comment removed

  • Amazing! Just amazing! And, again, thank you for your educational nature. :)

  • @everglade93 me too !! and i've been trying so hard to find a corrector that to hide them !! i will try an orange based one and see how is goes !! thank you for the reply !!! :)

  • I prefer your natural look. I'm sorry to say, that this isn't you and it looks a bit too fake.

  • Awesome video!! Thank you, thank you! Can't wait to try it with my Mac concealer (NW20) and the pink-

  • brilliant!! I'll be trying this!

  • YOU CAN MESS WITH IT AND PLAY. GOD WAYNE. WHY SAY THAT?? -.-

  • This was a great tut and it inspired me to take action! Used a pot concealer that was too light for me, mixed in a fairly generous amount of both old Mac CheekHue in Balthuzar and Revlon lipstick in Siren. Perfect corrector for my NC15 skin, didn't cost me a penny. Thank you so much!

  • Could you do an Asian type thing like what's the best foundation, correctors, and especially MASCARAS! PLEASE! As you know Asians most of us we've got teeny lashes that are like barely there!

=====Please THUMB this up for Wayne to see!=====

  • I love this! Thank you!

  • another reason why I know i can afford to keep watching you...thank youuuu.this gave more hope fighting my hyper-pigmented skin..I need more salmony color to base and to concealer.....

  • you saved me $30. I was about to shop for one online. i have loads of orange lipstick and NYX concealer ( that i don't use) this will help a lot. I LOVE YOU WAYNE!!

  • hmm.interesting .

  • @enjoydotcom the numbers are a reference to the mac foundations. The lightest is like NC/NW 15, so an NC/NW 35 would be warmer toned. Check out the mac website and you will see each colour foundation has it's own number. This is what he is referring too. :)

  • How do I find out what number my skin has? I've looked all over for the tag, but can't find it. ;).

No seriously, where do these numbers come from?

  • looks nice!

if I want to make more bright color concealer, can I mix some white cream eyeshadow?

  • i really like think really dont know my shade or tone... love make-up have a few but i mix match so idk love your videos

  • amazing !!!! ^_^ nice

  • Hi Wayne. I want to try this technique. But dont know what to use. I am a NC44, should I use the orange or the pink one?

    Thanks

  • @3743962 Orange/peach. NC means you have warm undertone.

  • @3743962 I think a pink one would be good.

  • @3743962 use pink

  • Wow!!! simply amazing!!! Tnx Wayne <3

  • Great idea!!

  • Applied this idea to my new compact creme foundation. At home the foundation looked chalky and too pale vs. in-store tester. Frustrating. Added a dab of NYX creme blush, which has a high slip texture and sheer color payoff. Excellent results! Smoother application and warmer skin tone. I'm 57 and foundation is truly hard to master. BUT so, so happy with your advice and all of your videos.

  • Too bad I'm very pale.

  • AMAZZZIIINNNGGGG

  • *corrector

Sorry my predictive text goes crazy sometimes lol

  • Hi! I love your videos and find them so helpful but could i please make a wee suggestion for this particular one? It would be so great if you made like a part 2 and showed woman of different ethnicities same what kinda inspector you would use? • Thank you so much for this! Amazingness! Cant wait to try this tomorrow!

  • Omg! I tried it just now and it's Awesome!! I used Mac NW35 studio finish concealer with Maybeline pink please and it's very nice looks better then my concealer alone. Thanks!!

  • OMG! Tried this and it works amazingly! Ur fantastic!

  • Wayne, you have NO IDEA how much you have helped me! I cannot thank you enough. PS. I mixed my concealer with MAC Lovelorn but am looking for a peachy color to try as well.

  • love your darker look

  • U use lotion for as hipness

  • I have to be as close to white as I can be I have Dior in nude and Mac in NC20 both look bad. They won't cover my dark areas without making my lines look bad. What can I do to trick the eye.Without having to put a lb. on?If you can help me.

  • why would u want pink or orange under eye circles?

  • how do you correct large areas of red skin..?like i have roseacea and any makeup i apply even though i apply a primer, then foundation, a setting spray over that, and then a yellow based primer over to cancel redness and then i powder it, i think the heat from my skin like melts it off and also my lips are soooo disgustingly red! i HATE having red lips..anyway to cover this up??? PLEASE MAKE A VIDEO, its gotten to the point where i just dont go out anymore unless i have to (college). S.O.S

  • Wow! I didn't know that I can make my own corrector at home! Thanks for sharing this tip :)

  • I love the fact that your videos give advice for both fair skinned ladies AND women of color. i LOVE it. i wish some of these makeup companies would realize that not everyone is a shade ivory or just enough buff! Lol

  • Hi Wayne, could you tell us how to work out our skin colour - online -for choosing foundation, correctors etc? I hear MAC nw... and I have no idea. I can't access stores in cities and products like MAC and Kett (which will be my next foundation :) ) are only available online to me in Australia. I don't know how to choose online. I'm fair-ish, pinky undertones and use a pale beige type colour currently.

It's an expensive mistake to make if I get it wrong.

    Cheers!

  • That combo makes a great nude lip stick too!!!

  • Thanks for showing how to blend our concealers.
