  • Nice use of house hold items. :P

  • @johnwest19995 Still its 80 bucks for a reball while a used 360 froim a reballer is 80 LOL

  • Damn, I sure could use this guy's services

  • I don't understand why anyone would dislike this video. If you're mad because your xbox died and have to have this done then be mad at microsoft.

  • Do you need a license to reflow / reball peoples machines on craigslist?. can i get in trouble? plz reply

  • @2615863 Minor ass fine chances of getting reported LOL

  • I think I'll just trade my games for the computer ones instead. This kind of cheap technology that MI1R0$C0FT has is just pissing me off.

  • oq ele tava fazendo?

    falsificando jogos?

  • One thing's for sure. I wont let this company work on my boards. Yeah he's got a nice expensive machine but I don't see him wearing any anti-static gear. I guess they're not ISO certified.

  • du caralho!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Now jtag it!!!! Its old dash ahaha

  • @miscvideosbyme Haha thats what I'm saying lol I Sell Jtags and I Got a few mobos recently and they were Jtagable just had rrod lol :D My Xenon Suffers from error 0102 so i have to reball it :(

  • And after another six months it happens again... unless of course microsoft used cheap soldering material... you'd think they fixed this design blunder in the newer models....

  • @mcardo99 They should just get off their ass and make them ZIF sockets.

  • So, all I need is a 200k$ flip-chip bonder and an engineering degree and I can finally fix my xbox the way Microshit should of!! FUCK YOU BILL!

  • you re ball it just to put the x clamps back on? really?

  • @canadasarmy - only children think that removing the x-clamps and then bolting the heatsinks down with materials more suited to light construction actually fixes the problem.

This reball procedure has removed the lead-free solder and reballed with leaded solder, which WILL resolve the problem.

  • @xb0xguru what I ment was that they should have possibly used screws and washers instead of placing the x clamps back on as they were a major design flaw. I dont have anything against the re ball, nor did I say I did..

  • @canadasarmy - screws and washers just make things worse as most cases they abnormally bend the board. The x-clamps are sprung and ensure equal pressure is applied to the GPU. Combined with the T9 screws into the Chassis, they hold everything in place. I reflow/reball the processors too and have had to throw out boards which were bolted down due to excessive force lifting the pads clean off.

  • @xb0xguru well, maybe those people shouldnt treat a motherboard like a construction site and not tighten the screws that much. about the even pressure, its like replacing a tire, you apply some pressure on each screw accross from the last until it becomes harder to tighten it any more.

  • @canadasarmy - replacing tyres is a bad analogy. You don't just tighten the bolts until you can't tighten them any more. Correct torque needs to be applied. In the case of bolts/washers for a console, the washers are not manufactured to micro-specification, meaning there could be variance is distances. So if you're tightening them all as you suggest and one corner has slightly thinner washers, what's going to happen?

  • @xb0xguru bad analogy? do you tighten your tires in a circle or tighten one, then then the one across from it...

If you dont like screws on your mobo, what do you use to put a heatsink on your computer

  • @canadasarmy - you're talking about the order, which is not what I'm debating. Tightening a screw until it's fully tightened only applies where all surfaces are of equal thickness. As I said, machine washers are definitely not.

My heatsink is held onto my processor by four spring clamps, thanks for asking. Standard stock Intel heatsink. Of course, Intel could also be wrong on this, eh?

  • Nice Job

Quanto fica o preço no total?

  • nice... :(... i wish we had electropoint at bangladesh... i would pay 100$ for every fix... coz we dont have warrenty on xbox in bangaldesh.... they are barely available here.

  • Como que faço para comunicar com voce

    e combinarmos o reparo do meu xbox360

  • that huge ball of solder didn't seem to do the one side much good

  • After all that work he found out he put it in sideways...

  • @NamelessStrang3r lol , no i think he is a pro

  • all that work.. its prolly cheaper to buy a new xbox. and if microsoft was smart and just used a standard cpu socket where u can actually remove the cpu they wouldnt be having all these problems. like seriously who wants to take a cpu out of a console when there isnt anything else that supports it socket size anyways .

  • can you use any bigger of a screw drive rlol

  • Wow Great Job!

  • normally i like techno music...but yea, these vids have gay music XD

  • i love how the guy who is fixing the xbox clearly DOES NOT look like he speaks Spanish YET all the writing is? weird?

  • @lilsteimie Idiot, its Portugese, not Spanish.

  • @lilsteimie hahah mexicans stole the video. and put there own captions.

  • buena amigo

  • @xVxXPrinceXxVx amigo se quiser posso concertar:acessa ai------>>>>>

  • Dayyum that is some amazing equipment. Still, I think he'd get much better results with a presto griddle and a nice home depot heat gun.

  • @fnb16 ROFLMMFAO

  • super gay

  • why show this vid and not put a link for potential customers. If this was in the US and I didn't watercool my 360 letting it break, I would be a customer.

  • omfg exploitable console!

  • I think this guy is trying to compensate the size of his screwdriver with something else...

  • @KorribanGhost I was stupify by the tall of his screwdriver. If he rips on the pc board, the X-box will be definitively die.

  • @KorribanGhost

That is absolutely hilarious! thanks for making me smile!

  • Spettacolo ragazzi!!!

  • What was with the big ass bar in the middle of the screen?

  • @xXLiiVeWiiReXx It's CRT screen, dude.

  • There is nothing wrong with the music and neither with the video...

You are all just a bunch of sad maggots !!!

fuck within your own families !!!

  • Comment removed

  • @jaycedace with no flux it doesn't

  • @jaycedace wow!--your heatgun can desolder a BGA chip, remove it, clean the solder off, stencil a new ball grid, flux the surface, mount it, x-ray it for precision and reflow it back onto the planar? Shit, I gotta get me one of those!

  • omg. this dude has a rework station and a shop. but he puts the x clamps back on? why?

  • the song is gay

  • The music in this video makes my ears haemorrhage.

  • just buy a slim >_>

  • awesome dude i like :D rate 5/5

  • That must be one fucking expensive machine.

  • @FireworksGenius15 It's about $15,000 to $20,000 on ebay

  • jajaja is very good, OMG!!!

  • OMG... get rid of the GAY techno muzak. Id rather hear you explaining what youre doing...

  • I feel like roller skating during this song...

  • why would you come looking for a way to fix the 360 then complain that it is a piece of shit

geez my 360 broke after 5 years im gona have to fix it so it works for another 3

try that with you ps3 when your blu ray fails punisher or your wii 360 unlike the ps3 as well gives some form of indication of over heating unlike the ps3 which just bursts into fucking flames ..

  • WTF AT THIS MUSIC....AND IM NOT GOING DOWNTOWN I WOULD HAVE MUCH RATHER LISTEN TO NEW YORK BY JAY Z OR WHATEVER THAT SONG THAT SAYS NEWYORK

  • @xXPUN1SH3RXx Fail troll is fail.

  • @xXPUN1SH3RXx TROLL!!!

  • alll that for an xbox lol its abit much wen you can use a heat gun!!!

  • @hell5634 Yeah, if you want to screw your Xbox up even further...

  • @gir1258 iv used a heat gun on my 360 and it works fine

  • what the hell.... he goes to all the work of reballing the GPU, then he slaps the damn x clamp back on it!? talk about putting sprinkles on a shit....

  • The screwdriver is so long lol

  • Could you tell me, What need I of materials to reballing?

I have 870a machine, but I need know the name of materials for example , what is the name of the mark of flux, what i need each things?

  • pelo trabalhão é melhor comprar outro.

  • Village People who like Large Machines.

  • where can i buy a pcb support like that? i have the bird ir 3000 but no pcb support...and i don't wanna spend any more money than i have to cuz i spent it all on the fkn machine

  • lol, the guy didn't even use the solder wick and used too much flux, doesn't look very professional, notice how dirty the stencil and counter is? you should never reball on dirty surface with a dirty stencil. unbelievable.

  • @texican512 this guy's machine costs's more then any thing you own. if he gots that i wont ? the man

  • What's with the super long screwdriver?

Check out my videos for a permanent repair.

  • @Logoseum

    Spammer!

    vai pra merda !!!

passa logo o telefone pra galera cacete.

  • ylod vs rrod

  • queria saber onde fica a loja e contatos?

  • hmm been looking for someone to reball 360s with leaded solder calls

people who say thsi is not perm must not understand the #1 reason for rrod heat and unleaded solder

only way this woudl not be perm is if the cpu started to melt and cause shorts

  • well concidering that lead free solder has a higher melting point that normal leaded solder. i think MS did actually do there research. th reason for the BGA needing a reball is because its cracking due to poor materials used. nothing to do with it getting hot.

  • Whats up with all these reballing vids playing gay techno music haha but good job on the xbox :P

  • Hi, av seen your video and there is no temp probe controlling the whole process other than the temp sensor in hot air gun, and what about your barbecue heater underneath? must be very COARSE heat control, I tried one of those hot air units from China and there heat output was way below the quality units, good luck with your business ;-) , keep trying though!

  • This is the closest xbox 360 rework/reflow I have seen on youtube granted health and safety is a bit TOXIC but the process looks valid, the rest of the videos on youtube seem to be made by wishful thinking chancers :-(, this board is hard to get right and the profit is negligable for all the work, humbug! merrry christmas

  • tazkenny is a hater. (see comment below)

  • This is a lesson in exactly NOT how to rework any electronic circuit board. Absolutley the worst workmanship I have ever seen, and trust me I have seen some shite. This guy exposed the chip to excesive heat, reballed the BGA device in a completely incprrect way, exposed the whole PWB to static, breathed in a lot of flux fumes, didn't wear safety specs, had his hot air station badly programmed and tried to make the vision recognition look like it was something clever.

  • all that fuckin work and the x clamps back on. FAIL.

  • @iwhitecastle X-clamps are not the problem its the solder balls cracking or becoming removed from the chip. The x-clamp fix is only for the cpu or gpu not getting enough thermal paste because of the pressure from the x-clamps pushing it to the sides. Get your shit straight because a 14 yr old just had to get it straight for you.

  • @garretts228 You obviously don't know what the fuck you're talking about. The x-clamps really don't put much pressure on either of the chips, but the shitty thermal compound that 360s come with usually melts out of place anyway.

Removing the x-clamps will almost guarantee better thermal conduction (assuming you use good thermal compound), and overheating the system when this mod is in place does fix the RROD. Just not permanently.

  • @ConvexSpade Im not going to argue with you, ive fixed many more xbox's than you have with success and will start reballing them soon as I get the equipment i need for it.

  • @garretts228 And you magically know how many consoles I've fixed successfully? Stop pretending you know everything.

You said that the X-Clamps were not the issue, and that it's the solder balls cracking. That's mostly true, but the X-clamps are a major contributing factor in the solder joints failing. They don't apply enough pressure to the processors (mostly the GPU, as I'm sure you know), which leads to bad thermal conduction, the mobo warping, and the RROD 50+ percent of the time.

  • @garretts228 your answer here is why youre 14.

  • Everythings good untill he puts the X-Clamps back on :(. The X-Clamps are the reason why he had to do this in the first place

  • muito showw a eletronica

  • che lavoro ti dovrebbero prendere nella microsoft

  • Why the hell does this white guy have the writing in spanish?! And the music sucks and this isnt even practical.. And doesnt even have a 360 with the good heatsinks.. this guy can go take his $500k machine and go f*ck himself..

  • this is not spanish, its portuguese

  • The machines not even $13k.. Where'd you get $500k?

  • Faggots can't solder.

  • How about getting a shorter screwdriver?

  • i rated this guy's video a 1 star since the song is so gay

  • @DeathstrokeV at least he didnt use a metal song like every cocksucker on youtube

  • @DeathstrokeV Please, grown up!!!!

  • @DeathstrokeV lmfao

  • can u do my xbox 360 how much do u charge

  • does anyone know the things i need to reballing the chips and the steps on reballing

  • What BGA machine is that .

  • Nice screwdriver :)

  • smallest screwdriver EVER!

  • Whats so special about that?

At Work (TV Technican) we have the same screwdrivers

  • whats the use of something SO friggen long for a job like that! O_o

  • i dont think the guy was using a long enough screw driver at the start of the video when he was taking off the heat sinks. haha

  • That screw driver was funny as hell

  • where did u get that chassis type thing you put the motherboard on?

  • aldis

  • The xclamp fix just pushes the heatsink up against the processors, so the joints reflow together, temporarily converging the joints together again, but this just makes the joints more brittle. Damn microsoft, they use some cheap ass solder, when i had mine done this way like in the video, they used high quality heat resistant solder. Wont break or be brittle...

  • They had to use lead free solder. It's illegal to use lead in products sold here now.

  • This kind of equipment costs thousands, it will permanently fix your xbox 360. A family friend works at an electronics company and they reflow and reball components on mainboards. I had one of my xbox 360 boards done this way and its been running for 2 years solid now.

  • why did he put the xclamps back on. lol. I guess the units not going to heat up if they fixed the thermal paste and fan. Oh and i JIMP "jizzed in my pants"

  • THIS IS NOT PERMINANT

  • Why is your comment down rated? You're right. It's the longest lasting though.

  • Description instead of terrible techno

  • Eu comprei uma manete lá agfora a poko!

  • This process costs R$ 300-400 = U$ 150-200. But we have to see that an xbox 360 here in brazil costs about U$ 500-800.

  • What's that stuff he applied at 4:00?

  • That was gel flux so it would dissipate the heat as he cleaned and removed excess old solder.

  • Excelente trabalho !

  • It´s a Brazilian Tech Shop that makes the reballing service. And the language is BRAZILIAN PORTUGUESE, not SPANISH or PORTUGAL PORTUGUESE. Just for the record.

  • Was the GPU sensor!

  • Its not really a permanent fix cause it will happen again, if the cooling on the board is the same. There is a company on ebay called Speed-Techz that does this plus Fan enhancement to the system.

  • actually, this is a very permanant fix combined with upgraded fans (12V) or externalizing your DVD drive and setting a 12V fan ontop of the GPU heatsink. This fix combined with the new hybrid x clamp fix (uniclamps) should help alot!

  • also using a higher quality solder will help hold up under normal heat

  • Where do i send my mother board to get this done ?

  • ZT-7 BGA & SMT Hot Air Reflow Center

  • Now this is the only permanent fix!!!

  • What reflow station is he using?

  • Song in this video is - ,,Angeleyes" Abba =)

  • Song in this video is - GAY!!!! laol

  • After Watching this video i feel like playing some DDR

  • why was the screwdriver at the begining like 5 feet long??

  • lol for reall

  • What's the name of the song used on this video?

And by the way, I think this is the only and real way to fix the Xbox 360...

  • You use the 968 and skillet like me cool!

  • i got a smaller manual one for 200 of ebay it works the same way but u do what the machine does

  • thats what microsoft do but u should not have put the x clamps back on you will get the red ring again after 1 or 2 years you should have replaced them with bolts and washers then you would never get it again inless you get e73 thats to do with somthing else
