I remember reading Betty Boop comic books and seeing her in cartoons back in the 1950s Ha! Ha! Ha! Her sound tracks didn't sound like this though...!!!
Betty for all her garters showing still moved with a certain primness whereas the old man of the mountain at one stage seemed to be doing a Michael Jackson moonwalk :-)
Hands on knees, hands on hips, hands on cheek, flutter of the eyelashes, that girl had all the moves, although those rosebud lips at the very end of the chin is most disconcerting
this works! great, who's singing?

@WhenDogsSing
The original of this cartoon had Cab Calloway singing in a hi-de-ho style

I didn't know Betty was such a minx. Would never have thought to put Burns to a drum beat, but it's very pleasing.

Never has a cartoon girl with a misshapen head ever been so hot... Oh yea the poem and music were nice too, Betty was just distracting me.

Yeah... personally I would never go for a girl with a mouth on the end of her chin

Awesome! I knew Ms Boop was in the PD world, but new where people got the clips. Thanks for the link!

I love this! Which came first ... the cartoon or the song? I think they really compliment each other. Your performance makes them work together well.
scooterrev 1 year ago
Well the song is about 200 odd years old and the cartoon was made in 1933....
Was that what you ment?

If you make enough mistakes in garbageband you get results like this... and you never know how you arrive at them, and they can never be repeated

Spectacular (I accidently hit 4 stars... damn my fat finger).
I'd give it 5 thousand stars if possible. Brilliant.

That cartoon was either the cause, or the result, of Prohibition.
Awesome arrangement of non-silence here!

The original cartoon had Cab Calloway singing.
There are times when silence has the loudest voice

As usual sir you are a diamond and I loved the cartoon but Betty still disturbs me. John
