The chain is only as strong as it's weakest link.I've spent hundreds of hrs. listening to music on audiophile systems of $50,000 dollars and higher.While you can get some idea of the clarity of this system,trying to relate it accurately in a you tube video is like telling someone to go down to the end of the block,I'll open up the windows and turn my system up real loud.....tell me how it sounds!
It's just when you're going to spend around 1500$ on an Amp and Speakers to enjoy a 'High-End' listening experience, a 25$ low-budget DAC doesn't fit in the picture. It definitively influences the sound quality. Anything from an Apogee One to an Antelope Zodiac would produce far better results.
@FadingReign I agree! But today my system is totaly different. Now I'm using an AudioGD FUN DAC, but I will change for a Electrocompaniet ECD-1 in the future.
