@npu Liz Allen was not on Spidey films, nor Reese. I chose her for my fake fanvideo because a dear friend of mine made for me a fanart of Harry and Liz, her being Reese, and since then I started to see her as Liz. My first choice was Amy Smart, but Reese is sweet too and she has those clips of her being a doctor from Just like heaven film that fitted Liz being a nurse as she is in comics.

My assumption is that you have no prior knowledge of the comics, which is fine. Liz Allen is Harry Osborne's wife. She is one of the original characters in the Spider-man comics, dating all the way back to the first Spider-man story in Amazing Fantasy #15 (August 1962).

Peter had a crush on her before meeting Gwen Stacy (another character that was pointless to Spider-man 3). She eventually fell in love with and married Harry Osborne. They had a son, named after Norman.

This is easily one of the best fan-made vids I have ever seen. Spider-man 3 would have been a much better movie if they had taken a route like this. In fact, introducing Liz Allen in the first film, and playing it out through the series exactly like you had it? Would've been completely perfect.

SM3 utterly nuked the Venom character and turned the entire franchise into a joke. Harry easily could've carried the film as the primary villain with a Liz Allen supporting story.

Wow, thanks ^_^ I would have loved seeing Liz Allen from SM1, that would have been more like the comics (since MJ's role in SM1 was a mix of Liz and Gwen Stacy's roles). And Harry would have had a bit of happiness before dying (besides the Peter/MJ/Harry triangle from SM3 was repeated from SM1)

I agree that Venom was not very well treated in SM3. Your idea of Harry being the main villain and Venom appearing in SM4 would have been OK

SM3 didn't nuke the Venom character. You must have hated the character from the comics, because in the movie his story and his character were precisely the same as in "The Amazing Spider-Man."

Actually Indoraptor, I LOVE the Venom character from the comics. The reason I feel that SM3 nuked Venom is because...well, I've been reading Spider-man since 1986. The crap they threw at us in that garbage film was not the Venom I grew up with. I don't know what Amazing Spider-man you've been reading if you think that Venom was accurately reproduced in SM3...obviously you fall into the "ZOMG VENOM IN A MOVIE THIS IS THE BEST THING EVER" category.

Actually, I don't care much about Venom. The only reason I liked the character was because he was being played by Topher Grace.

In the comics all Venom ever wanted was to kill Peter Parker/Spider-Man. That's it. In the movie that's precisely what he did, what he tried to do. And he did a pretty damn good job at it, before Harry came in and stopped him. And when Eddie Brock died, he died in a way that the comic book version would - trying to save his symbiote.

Yeah, I love all Spidey movies (yeah, even SM3 XD). I agree, Peter/Felicia is a great couple. They were the first Spidey couple I liked (if you see in my Faves there's a great fanvid about them). But, if you read that What if issue (What if Spidey married Black Cat, I don't remember the issue), you'll see their married would not have worked. Yet they're great together.
