  • wow i love ur videos but i cant help but wonder how the camera shows the food cooking directly without getting in the way, do u have someone else filming u?

  • @Tehve1 I use a tripod dear. You can't get a steady view when someone holds the camera. It will also be too much work for that person :)

  • Thanx

  • Seems similar to what is called Red-Red in Ghana.

  • @Eclectician That's good to know :) We all have similar recipes across West Africa, don't we?

  • Oh!! Thank you so much ! I requested this and I can't wait to try it! I feel like I'm going to make a great wife because of these videos! (Amen) ..I just graduated from University and now i"m working...when i return home my mum will be so proud!

  • @missalicebiyi O yes it's youuuu! Double congrats dear on your graduation and getting a job! Mum has a lot of reasons to be proud of you. Well done!

  • do i neccesarily need to pund the pepper because i dont have that can i just cut it

  • @yungaterror Yes you can :)

  • omggggggg thank you i have been for how to make this for agesss !!

  • @yungaterror My pleasure, enjoy!

  • I love black eyed peas; so easy to cook with nice sweet taste. Thanks for the recipe.

  • @halet10 You're welcome :)

  • Many thanks

  • Good job. pls y do u alwz pound ur pepper n not blend it with tomatoes?

  • @debakin2 lol . when you blend the pepper with tomatoes and start boiling/frying it, the whole house will be filled with the smell of pepper with everyone sneezing and this is unbearable for ppl especially when I have kids :) I pound it because for me to blend it on it's own, I'll have to pour water which I don't want to do. My hand blender doesn't do a good job of it so mortar it is :D For those who don't mind all of the above, there's no problem in blending it with the tomatoes :)

  • Another great video, but I thought Ewa Agoyin is smoother that you can barely see a whole beans. Any idea how to make it more smoother than this? I can't wait to try it. Recently my husband was talking about eating ewa agoyin from back home, now I have the recipe. Thanks for uploading this video. Excellent job.

  • @cajibade Yes, some people marsh their beans when it is done to make it smoother but I prefer mine well done but with the beans seeds still intact :) I only mash it when I want to eat it with bread as I did towards the end of the video. I'm sure that hubby's stomach is singing in anticipation of the Ewa Agoyin! :)

  • Great job! I'm always excited to see your videos! How different is the sauce you've made from the ones the hawkers (elewa) sell?

  • @naomirain mmh, I've never eaten the one the hawkers sell but I guess theirs have more pepper in it :D and taste more traditional because they use only bleached palm oil.

  • Every smoke alarm on my block would go off if I tried that with the oil. :) I never liked black eyed peas growing up...Now, for some reason, I like them.

Thanks for another cool video. I will have to search for Palm oil though.

  • @RABthefirst lol, please invite the firemen before you start :) I never liked all beans except in recipes where you need to take off the coat eg Akara and Moi Moi but this one is an exception. If you can't find palm oil, you can prepare it with only vegetable oil and you won't miss anything. It is only those that crave the traditional one that need to use palm oil :)

  • Great Job!! Nice video. I wouldn't have known this is how it's made.

  • @brains7733 yes o! that's how it is made or something close to that lol. Smoke and high temperatures owa mbe! :D
