Cloud was the only one able to get rid of Sephiroth in storyline and he probably isn't going at Full Force on Sora so in a way, Cloud can be a Godlike person himself.

Hercules also probably didn't go Full Force on Hades because he had to go through many obstacles, wearing him down as Sora cannot defeat Hades without Hercules's help when in the Underworld but can thrash him when at the upperworld.

So... to me, Sora is a Semi-Godlike Killer.

The reason why Seph is better, is because he was actually designed to fight the main character, Hercules and co are there to assist the plot, not to be the ones controlled by the player.

Also to my Reply i would like to say a few of Sephiroths abilities: He can call meteors from the sky, Teleport, Turn invincible (on special occasion),Create fire spurts from the ground 2x bigger than hades, and also create Shadowy and highly explosives balls of darkness.  ok that was almost all i could think of lol

All Hercules and Hades did was stand around the entire fight. Herc tried to be useful with that little orb-conjuring thing, but it didn't conjure any orbs and Sephiroth was all up in your face in like a split second anyway.
