  • 33 O'hare Ct. from 77-80.

  • Thank you. I cried while watching this. I grew up on Dierks Street, not far from where this video was taken. B'ville in the 60's & 70's was a good place to be and still is. Our parents still live on the south end of town. Every town has it issues...but mostly Bensevville was good.

  • I love this video. I lived at 18 sunset court from about 1979 to 1988, then moved to streamwood. I rember being 7 years old and my mom first turning into sunset court to show us our new home. There were soo many people outside and kids having fun. Unfortunately over time things changed a litte. I went to tioga, chippewa, blackhawk and 6months in fenton. The greatest memories i have were just walking around the town. I love that town. Firehouse pizza delivered in a firetruck, holla.

  • Trivia: When Bally Manufacturing Corporation built their new factory in 1979, they were Bensenville's largest employer. Plant was at 90 O'Leary Drive. Demolished for O'Hare expansion on June 20th, 2010 Building was divided into 84 and 90 O'Leary after Bally moved out in 1989.

  • hey you have the best videos. i lived there from birth . back in 1983 to the end . your videos are perfect!!!!

  • I enjoyed your video. I've lived in Bensenville for about 8 yrs now, and it is very sad to see what's happened to it. Homes & businesses all boarded up.... so so sad.

  • damn dis place changed a lot. i mean i used to live in tthose apartments when i was 3. (DAMN O'HARE EXPANSION!!) but this town had lots of good memories. now this place is shrinking, the middle school has a bunch of gangsta wannabies (anyone who looks and talk like 1), and ppl don't hang out at the parks anymore. wat happened, b-ville? it can't end this way

  • This is so sad, i lived at 136 Garden street, grew up there. It's so sad to see all these people loosing there homes. Our memories, our child hoods. I miss my town and all people that have lived around me..........

  • Hey, Nkhan this is Sobzi786 from 5 ohare ct. Finally saw your videos, they're great!! Especially this one. It bought tears to my eyes.... really!!

  • Diz iz juz sad!!!!

    =[

  • B'ville. I always think of it when I hear Bruce Springsteen sing "My Hometown". But that was quite awhile ago. The transition from genteel suburb to gritty industrial crash pad has been painful to watch. Mom moved to Glen Ellyn in 1985 after dad died. But some things, some good things have not died. Keep that faith, love above all endures.

  • Nice video. Sometimes its not easy to change environment. Sometimes past can never be forgetten. It follows u like a shadow. We can forget the places. But its the moments that are like 'Read Only Memories'. Nice work.

  • I haven't been to bville..! but the pictures combined with the background music and humorous, typical friendly, chat phrases, is really all very touchy and beautiful.

    Thanks for Sharing... :0).

  • Thank you for sharing your memories...I could almost hear the children laughing, the basketballs in the courtyard and the guns in the foreground...it was sad to see the ghosts of yesteryear...the advancement of capitalism and the recklessness of our human race! I pray that everyone soon finds peace in this difficult transition in life. Brightest blessings to you! Peace!

  • I miss the joy that the PNRC gave me...best years of my law enforcement career, with the best people I've ever encountered...The Kazmi family, the Campuzanos, Marco who lived across the street, I'll miss 'em all...

  • bville was,is and always will be the best place i ever lived admist all the shooting, gangs and crazy aunty and uncles i loved this place bville made me the person i am today i owe a lot to the masjid and the muslim community we had i jus love bville and so upset that its all gone but it still remains a great memory in my heart, mind and soul i jus love this video thanx naima
