How fortunate we are that this cantata has been returned to the repertoire. It's absolutely gorgeous. Dare I say it's as good as any of J.S. Bach's cantatas. Truly a masterpiece. And this performance! The soloists, the choir, the orchestra, and the direction are all superb. I'm truly impressed!

Essa cantata estava desaparecida, levada pelos russos após o final da WW2.

Foi localizada em Kiev e aqui interpretada pela primeira vez em tempos modernos, em 01.junho.2010 na Augustinerkirche, Mainz
