What if you were to use 13 sectors (divisions) in the large disk (rotor), but only use 12 magnets (leaving an unbalanced gap); then, using a fixed central shaft, connect another duplicate setup on the opposite side, with just a slight variation in timing... Would the offset in repulsion be enough to drive it constantly? .... Just a thought.

I was basically implieing that if such a thing was possible, it would be something we're all aware of by now. People were discussing magnetism in 600BC. Every single experiment you see here on youtube has passed through the minds of millions of people, and tested many times over. that + laws of physics, and I just dont believe its possible. But that is opinion and a common argument around these parts. I have to say tho, I like your attitude and strong faith, and I hope you do find something :]

That`s my thoughts...just like our bodies build up static when we walk across a carpet floor and touch a door nob...LOL
The static you build up walking on the floor is a tiny fraction of the energy you lost into the friction that made it.
If you want to help solve the energy problem, study up on physics and chemistry and electronics. You will see why ideas like this can never work. You may also find a useful idea. Even a small improvement can make a major contribution when multiplied by a large number of units.
I think your circle and centre are too perfect - the one that got all the excitement seems to either have an imperfect circular outside, or the centre is not exactly in the center, or the magnets are not perfectly aligned.
The details don't matter much since it is easy to prove, with a little physics, that no arrangement of magnets can ever be a source of energy. The whole idea is a blind alley.

Its called Magnetc gearing. I ran my whipmag with that power source. Yes the basic concept is a hoax. You need a remote power source to operate it.
This was more to to see the effect of a larger than prescribed rotor upon the stator. Since the diameter is greater than prescribed, the gap between rotor mags is larger, the stator pauses quite a bit between whips. But AGW was there. It really makes me wonder if it could be made to work with 1 stator, and its just a matter of finding all the right variables. I realy like your settup. Very sweet.
1 stator! Ithink u would be dispointed here, on its own the stator can not pull the crown wheel,I have tried this,i have not been able to get it to speed up, but i can get it to run for 4 mins + when the 2 stators are stopped without them it only runs for 30 sec's If you hold all 3 stators stopped and spin the crown wheel on its own you will see the same effect.
I am nealy done with my lastest attempt. and i feel that this could be it
Hey Dave. I doe see what you mean. The 2 idlers definately add a positive attribute. Have you tried a timed spin down with all stators(3) in gw? also w/out stators? I was having problems with my bearings. I soaked them in wax and grease remover and they seemed very dry and they spun up sweet, but after a bit, they seemed to tighten up a bit. It's hard to get gw on 1 of them. I figure some grease was still in there and I really need to blow them out after soaking. Even oils slug it up.

There is no way a magnet motor can ever work:
1) The force between two poles is along the line between the poles.
2) The force between poles only varies with their current position (history doesn't matter)
3) When you have more than two poles, take the forces between them in pairs and add.
1&2 plus a little logic prove that no arrangement of two poles can ever work. Remember:
Work = Force . Distance
3 says that if two won't work no other number can either.

The physics of magnets is well understood.
(1)The force between two poles depends only on their current locations. It doesn't matter if you get to those locations coming or going.
(2)When you have multiple poles, the total force can be worked out by just taking the poles in pairs, computing the force and adding up the results.
Fact (1) makes it impossible for a pair of poles to ever be a source of power. Fact (2) makes this also apply to any combination of poles.
