@Grant4Shakira i think you can get all the legdendary pokemon, i readt hat later in the game you can get the others masct pokemon, heart gold being ho oh and soul silver beong luiga,. but they will be at lvl 70 instead of 45

@TarRinion actually All the legendary pokemons appear (im referring there are no version exclusive) except 2

Soul Silver - Groudon, Latios

Heart Gold - Kyogre, Latias

Latios and Latias were aviable in both versions if you got the enigma stone event but kyogre and groudon u must have a friend to help u to get rayquaza since its imposible to get it whitout a friend

theres also sabelye and tediursa as exclusive and other 3 or 4 but dont remeber

It Works with any kind of ds i believe just like allother games except dsi only ones i have a red mario kart edition first model of ds and platinum worked for me so i guess this will.

@PokeToyLovers5 You should get HeartGold. then buy Coliseum or XD:Gale of Darkness. That way you have Lugia and HO-OH. As for your starter, just get a random one and then use your Diamond and Pearl to get the other starters using GTS. Unless they have it in HG/SS too.
