  • i have an 86 LS... 73,xxx miles... nothing rides like those cars.. check out mine "1986 chevy monte carlo ls aka mr. magoo

  • why did they stop making them did the new camaro replace it in the chevy line up? i guess it did. thts ashamed monte carlo were nice looking cars all the way to the end:)

  • i luv them all my dad has a 2001 monte carlo ss :)

  • 89 ss T-top One of my fave cars :$

  • last song?

  • 2:07 that's what I have, a 1987, except its light blue...And it's all stock.

  • GM needs to bring it back. We need a rear wheel drive 2 door chevy other than the camaro.

  • qe auto

  • The best ones were built from 1970 - 1977. After they down sized them, they were never the same. The early 1990's were nothing more than a two door Lumina.

  • @TurnLeftAgain my sister had a 1999 monte carlo in blue and it broke down. now she has a pontiac grand prix.

  • @mp86ss - I just sold my '86. I feel like I divorced. I am getting sick talking about it...

  • my sister had either a 1999 or a 2005 monte carlo. also, whats the last song?

  • the only good years (in my opinion) after 89 were: 03, 04, and 07

  • Yeah, I did see a Regal racecar in there, and had a 71 M.C. as a 72.

  • The SS's you show for '83 and '84 are not good representations of those years. For those two years only White and Blue was available as an external color. Also the two you show have "aero" mirrors, which weren't available until the '86 LS and '87/'88 SS.

Pretty cool video other than that an the Petty Regal !

  • the 90's monte carlos look soooo bad

  • @d0ugz24 ASSHOLE

  • @HELLOKID123456789 you are just mad because it's true

  • Design went all wrong from 90´s forward.. American cars looked great up to mid 80´s, after that.. horrific.

  • i like last song

  • My favorite is the 76 model year... BEAUTIFUL............

  • whats the last song?

  • i had a 99 monte ls loved it

  • sweet fucking vid yo

  • why did gm go bankrupt? because they do stupid shit like turn a monte into fwd. wtf gm

  • i wanna put a 305 in a 95-99 model

  • @9trebaby waste of time. It'd be slower.

  • nice video! on my 4th monte ss! love'em!!!

  • They oughta make the 2010s alot beefier. Like the charger or so and of course rwd and about 350 hp. Make it compete with the new SHO

  • Whoops. That scene with Richard Petty's STP sponsored #43 was a Buick Regal, which he used briefly before switching over to the Pontiac Grand Prix. Of course, they all had the same BM chassis underneath with GM "corporate" (i.e. Chevy small block) V-8 under the hood.

  • 79 <3

  • 1980 is the best year of the monte the 1981 in this video is a 80

  • what is the name of the song playing in the 80s?

  • @theCrash1000

Another One Bites The Dust by Queen

  • I like 70-72, 86 with T Tops, and 07. The rest are pretty ugly.

Chevy should have started making the Monte Carlo to compete with the Dodge Challenger in 2009 with that retro throwback look. That would have been so cool. and Ford could have come back with the Gran Torino or something.

  • what were they thinking when they made them front wheel drive.

  • @YAGO323 i would have to agree with you, I own an '07 Monte Carlo SS and i hate that its FWD..

  • i have a 2005 cream white..they are good cars and they have a wonderful look.

  • I've had two 1983's, an 87 SS Aerocoupe, and currently own a 72 model. All have been fantastic cars.

  • richard petty wasnt driving a monte. it was a Regal

  • Montes are my favorite car. My dad had owned many and ive had 2 myself. 70-88 are the only good ones

  • '86 ss and '04 Dale Earnhardt edition (Intimidator SS) best looking Montes out there..

But I have love for all of em!

  • 71 looks awesome!

  • 3:01 omg da prelude :P

  • 79 is the best

  • at 1:30 thats a buiick regal not a monte carlo

  • i have a 04 monte...

  • 70's 80's thoes are some nice rides.... they should start makeing cars like that agin

  • Monte Carlo + T-tops = sex

  • I only like the 71-73. My instructor has an 86 with a 355 in it for dirt track tracking. Every possible thing is stripped away for weight reduction. Gatta have that acceleration. Even the windshield is chicken wire. No lights, 1 sheet metal seat and a hole cut for the shifter.

  • "Little did they know how sucessful it would be"

Why did they cancel it!? I loved these!

  • @BKofficer23 They discontinued them just as they were starting to look good again. The 90s one were hideous. We have a 96 at my school.

  • @BumbleBeeGS

I liked the rear styling of the 90's.

The front, not so much. Too soft.

  • 95-05 sucks

  • much love i have an 83' i rebuilt from ground up and i love them...nice vid

  • personally i think 74-76 are like ugly :[

  • @stevenmckinley8152 its a love or hate scenario

  • @ANGRYREDNECKTRUCKER i guess it is just about personal opinion i have a 71 monte and i think its so pretty :]

  • yeah first gens are the nicest i think.

  • I love monte carlos have had 2 of them a 1981 and my current 1979 ss Monte carlo... My favorite of all time.... Dropped a 350 tranny and engine.. with posi traction and it runs like a bat out of hell.... Monte Carlos are the best.... Love my 1979 SS

  • excelente video felicidades bro

  • I have an '07 and I absolutely love it! I do agree however that Chevrolet would have done better had they made them RWD. I also wish they would have not discontinued them because they were really starting to get it right in '06-'07. I really wanted one but I wanted a new car so I had to sacrifice and get a used one just to get my Monte Carlo but no regrets, it's in great condition and I absolutely love it!! GREAT CAR!!!

  • I liked this, but it didn't really show it accurately. you know, between the LS and SSes. I have an 87 SS black w/o stripes

  • love my 1984 mexican Monte Carlo Landau Roof.

  • monte carlos got lovem i got a torch red 99 monte carlo 146k and still runnin strong

  • I have a '95 Z34 ^_^

  • Nice vid.........They shouldve made the 2000-07' Montes Carlos RWD

  • very true

  • @ThaBoiFromIL As much fun as a newer RWD Monte from that time would've been, I have to say the FWD models did well in their own respect. They were actually alot faster than given credit for. They were actually faster than a good chunk of older Monte's, if not all of them, while using 2 less cylinders usually (the exception being the 2006-2007 SS 5.3L V8)

  • @ThaBoiFromIL As well as the Iimpalas, Grand Prixs, Regal, Grand Am etc. :(

  • @ThaBoiFromIL yea youre so right i own the 2004 ss and its to bad to drive a muscle car that its rwd

  • dang nice 1987!

  • Its a shame they discontinued them. They were finally starting to get it right with the 06 and 07 models. All they had to do was make it rear wheel drive and make a manual tranny for it. Maybe once GM gets back on track they will start making them again.

  • im in the proses of gettin an 86

  • im in love with the 85-87 ss

  • i have an 87 ss :)

  • 1970-72 Monte was perfection... the SS from the '80s almost matched it's awesome. '95-99 was OK, 2000+ performed pretty nice, but... it looked too big for a FWD car.
