If the warranty is a Best Buy warranty, they basically just use youtube repairs, am I right? These businesses should be required to either hire professionals like your self or send it to Microsoft. Not wrapping it in a towel, thats for sure.

I also repair these on a daily basis and have been saying the same things for years. I Myself have repaired well over 5000 xbox 360 and do use a IR re-flow station for re-flows and re-balls and when I see bolts and washers it makes me wounder how these big companies can do a repair that they know will not last. Bolts / washers / Pennies / towel / oven / torch / Hair dryer / Heat gun and all other methods are wrong and Game Stop's refurbished Xbox's look the same.Great Video

@VideoGamingRepairLLC (1) No Bolts (2) Arctic Silver 5 or better on Chip (3) Allow the box to be opened for cleaning without voiding your warranty. The length of warranty is your choice but without the ability to properly clean the Xbox it will not be long before it fails agene regardless of what equipment you use. If you need ways to mark a MB that is not copy able ask and I will show you a few ways

@xwhitemagic666 If an Xbox is still under Microsoft’s warranty? yes I would agree they would have sent it to Microsoft. But This Xbox was under there extended warranty plan you pay extra fore they put a seal on the box not from Microsoft

daniel...sir i have a broken dvd drive its a hitachi dvd drive from the core console.....i bought a new one but the repairmen told me that the chip that is in the old drive is useless cause if you replace it in the new drive it doesnt work and even you cant extract the key from it.......any ideas of how to get around this??

@rustyragster I can not say I have not looked at the drive and do not know your repairman’s ability to repair most are a joke and have not clue so it is possible for me to repair it but you will need to send the consol and drive to me and I am not accepting mail in Boxes for a little wile yet. 30 day? Or less.

@rustyragster that is the problem sir :( i live in pakistan....wel the problem is that if i put the board from the old drive into the new one the xbox will go to the dashboard (dashboard version is the oldest) d= but the drive dosent open or anything .....here nobody knows abut 360s they all tell me its dead

hi daniel im actually in the tulare county area and was wondering if you do reflows on PS3's? or can reball them all together? we have nothing but shoddy craigslist repairmen here in visalia unfortunately..

@miasmablk Sorry I do the Xboxes exclusively; I did do the PS3’s for a short time but decided I did not like them, in my opinion they have more problems than the Xbox and are way to time consuming and expensive to work on and I could not offer a decent warranty! So I stopped all repairs of the PS3’s

@HGCGamersClub cool i have a 360 i might bring down there some time then. it has a sort of complicated problem though that i think only you may be able to handle if your willing. from my not so expert opinion it looks like flux was was just left all over the dvd drive pcb during the manufacturing process and it just kinda ate everything alive in there.

Unbelievable. So if you bought this box, you would have no way of knowing about the shoddy work unless you opened the box & VOIDED their warranty.

@Okejee Yes that is right! But this is not a refurbished unit sale this was there Extended warranty work it lasted 7 days before it went red light agene and the customer found me, I did save it and it has been working fine thankfully.

@skylinmegas9290 I am aware of the auto problem it showed up after the upload I did not notes until after I deleted the original video so now there is no way to fix it properly but it still gets the point across as to the bull S/H I am trying to worn you all about! This Xbox blonde to a 8 year old kid if it had not been for me living close he would have had to buy a new Xbox and dad was broke so was looking at least a year! show your support and stop this from becoming your kid!!

@skylinmegas9290 I wish! I told the dad I would help hem file and go to court with hem but he refused. Like a lot of Americans in this economy he just could not afford to take a day off work because it would mean not being able to feed his kids and pay the mortgage on his house! Show your support and help hem and yourself! I can put a stop to all this! But without your support I can do nothing.
