Kollias shows alot of skill by not overplaying in this song. Hes such a gifted drummer it would have been easy for him to use those openings as gateways to overplay. He pulled a John Bonham Kashmir performance on this tune. He has great control over his abilities. The greatness of Nile cannot be understated.

Hey George, I noticed a few of your cymbals overlap others, and when you hit them, the smash into the other cymbals overlapping them. I was wondering if you ever have a problem with that?

I noticed that too, It seems it doesn't harm anything, might just scratch cymbals..

But of course on your point, if those cymbals below get big hit from upper ones, and they swing so much it'd make hitting them difficult, it might be a problem, don't know. It's personal, that's why you asked George, not me :D
