Some people just don't like to sit down, and watch a plot develop. They like to be able to move around and do shit while the movies playing in the background so that, more often than not they can turn around and catch an explosion or a chick getting naked.

I personally love it, and all things Quintin Tarantino. I had this explained to me recently.
