That Tractor Driver will be prosecuted of what he done and also putting lives in danger and also the train driver. I think First Capital Connect should now fine that tractor driver after the accident. That line from Hitchin-King's Linn is 40mph for slow trains & 80mph for fast trains.
@andyncfcgetshypedup FCC and Network Rail are following the case through, although he may as well go bankrupt as his insurance premiums will go through the roof after this claim for damage and recovery :/
@DeanieBoi07 It hit a Tractor that crossed the line, and ended up stuck at downham market for a month whilst discussions got under way for the Units salvage
@DeanieBoi07 it lost its coupling Equipment at the end they needed to drag it for one, the flanges where like a broken bit of glass, and the bogie had shifted and axel 2 was loose,
@AE53TZJ I was taken by suprise when there head office called me back and had a chat and they gave me the information, was nice of them as its normally something a TOC would not give out information on, leaps and bounds Rail Enthusiast and FCC have come for such generous response and information from them
@AE53TZJ people do slate them, but is it they expect too much from a rail operator? the nature of the business and conditions given they do a good job,
oooh looks nasty at the front, also that’s some great lorry handling from the drivers

@toppackage That's a long time to leave a train there just so they can discuss what to do with it.
