You have done a really good job playing this piece. Very expressive. I am playing this piece as well and I noticed in the score that Brouwer has indicated this piece is to last for 2 minutes which you have succeeded in doing! But in David Tanenbaums book on the original 20 Brouwer etudes he goes on to say that in a masterclass Brouwer gave he himself admitted this time to be an error! I do believe the piece is more technically difficult when played slowly and I commend you on your efforts.
Nice sound quality and beautiful legato. But I think you shoud not stress so much the bass g because there is no accsent and it is the second beat (later there is some for lower notes (6th bar a). You did nicely the dynamics but your playing is rhythmically incorrect for ex. in 6th measure - and I see no point why you did play it like that.
Thank you for the video of the etudio raise 2 of brouwer and a favor wanted to ask you that if you might raise the video of the study 3 of brouwer please
wow beatiful. great job!I'm also practicing this song at the moment. Already played etude no 6 of brouwer and was already amazed by it. But this piece is even better...its even hard to describe for me why I like this one so much. its so emotional I would say.
This is such an unusual and beautiful piece and I think you've done it real justice here. It really has that kind of choral quality that Brouwer was after.
Thanks so much for posting this. It's really a beautiful piece, and you did a wonderful job performing it. Not only did it help me with my guitar lessons, but it was simply nice to listen to.
Very good. One suggestion is to make the end a bit more dynamic, since it is sort of an echo moment. I notice in a lot of brouwer studies where there are phrases that are quiter, almost like echoes of the previous ones.
Thank you Vabejas! This is a very importent "Estudio" to develop induvidual control of different strings played simultaneous. No chord breaking. I have spent much time on sound quality in this connection and I try to press (not lift) the strings against the soundboard. I try to plant the fingers before attack and not lift the right hand. I'm impressed of the high level you have reached after just one year of playing the classical guitar.
Hi Jasper! I miss you! Are you OK? How's business? And Riet?
I hope everything is OK and you still lay with Damien the old cowshit!

Thank you Akatsuki458! Brouwer's Estudios are fine works, I play N° 6 as well, but never managed to record it to my liking, maybe one day.
Good luck with your practice,
Jasper

Thanks for stopping by and your nice comment Denian!
I've heard Alvaro Pierri play this piece as an encore 2 weeks ago, he only took 50 seconds!:), sounds like a different piece.
All the best,

Ça prend des nerfs d'acier pour la jouer à ce tempo :) Je crois que j'ai fais une vingtaine de secondes plus rapides :P

Thanks Juergen, so you didn't fall asleep then? :) Wakie Wakie!
I've got a 2nd (faster) version on my hard drive. Brouwer does funny things with me, very depending on mood of the day.
